I was charged $252 prior to cleaner's arrival, scheduled from 9am - 1pm. At first, the cleaner was pretty good, targeting the areas I've requested. Toward the end, her work was sloppy, rushed, did a half-ass job, and left early. This company does not care for its customers, nor satisfactory job, they only care about profits.
I asked for a wipe down of an empty like-new stainless steel refrigerator, and she only wiped the front of the doors, neglecting the sides of the doors and the shelves of the refrigerator. Fingerprints were still on it. I asked to wipe down the outdoor patio set (3'x3' table and 4 chairs). She simply took a wet rage and quickly wiped it in under 2 minutes. The wipedown was NOT thorough, and the visible water streaks showed missed areas. No bucket of water for re-wipe, no cleaning solution for tough dirt stains. It usually takes me 20 minutes to clean that thoroughly. I asked for the oven interior to be cleaned, but there were white chemical solutions dripping down the door. I asked for wipe-down of the walls for some minor liquid stains, and there were still some stains remaining after she wiped it down. Needless to say, her work was sloppy, rushed, and didn't care.
Worst of all, only 2.5 hours (out of 4 hours), she moved all her supply near the door and eventually escorted herself out the door, and left. I called the coordinator 5 minutes after she left. The cleaner had called the coordinator before me and said that she had 1 hour more of cleaning, when she had already left the vicinity. She lied. The cleaner mentioned that I had approved her of leaving, when in fact, I did NOT approve her leave nor the cleaning results.
The coordinator took 3 days to issue a refund of 1 hour for $63. Lack of decision making authority and wasted my time. I insisted that 1.5 hours should be returned. For a half-assed job with mediocre results and such a headache, the company absorb my 0.5 hour that was not performed. They claim that their policy is 3 hours minimum.
Mediocre quality + expensive rate + company that doesn't care + employee that takes shortcuts.
