Thankful for the design consultation that I did with Melanie in October 2023. There's an extensive design prework that occurs prior to the consultation so that she understands your style and preferences which was extremely helpful for our meeting. She gave me an amazing amount of constructive feedback on home…
We had our session with Melanie a few days ago - we got so much good advice and direction, I can’t thank her enough! This was my first time working with an interior designer and I wasn’t sure about the process, but Melanie did a great job of guiding us. We really needed help thinking through and defining the use of…
I can't say enough good things about working with Happy Place Interiors. I was specifically looking for a interior decorating company that could meld some of my parents existing furniture items while then targeting key pieces that we needed to purchase. As a background my parents moved from a house to a townhome.…
Melanie is the BEST! We just moved in to our new home, and I really didn't know what wasn't working, but things felt a little off IN and OUTside of our home. She gave us amazing ideas to help create more visual interest, considered kids, function, aesthetic, and considered budget/priorities based on project…
We hired Melanie for an Ideas and Design consultation and had a wonderful experience. Melanie provided us with small tweaks we could make to our home that would make a big difference. She also helped us decide what projects would be best to focus on and what would give us the “biggest bang for our buck.” Melanie…
Melanie did a lovely job helping me to get "unstuck" in envisioning a better design for several rooms in my house, particularly the bedroom and dining room and to come up with a plan to move forward. She is excellent at seeing the possibilities with your current furniture and showing new ways to arrange the space.…
Happy Place Interiors made me very HAPPY !!! Love that I could purchase services and consults as needed. Melanie is extremely professional, knowledgeable and inspirational. She listened to my needs and offered several options for the layout of my living area. I will definitely contact her again for consultation. Very pleasant experience.
We recently had Melanie over for a couple hours to look at our home and give us some interior design ideas. We want to do some updates to our home but didn’t know where to start. When I first looked at her website and saw how far out it would be for our first meeting I was hesitant to book the appointment. I am so…
Melanie helped me envision a usable and beautiful design for an awkwardly shaped living room and dining room, including accounting for pets and kids. She started rearranging furniture almost immediately and made even using what I had look great. She helped me create a plan and pick out paint colors, and I have my…
Melanie is AMAZING! I didn't want to hire a full on interior designer but needed someone to take my vision and turn it into a plan I could execute over time. In 3 hours she had redesigned my main floor with a clear plan (paint colors, flooring, room configurations/use of space, cabinetry and countertops). It fit my…
I had an incredibly positivity experience with Melanie. I met with her for a 2 hour consultation and ideas meeting. We covered so much in a short period of time including furniture layout for two rooms and whole house paint color scheme.
I felt so comfortable sharing all my "secrets" with Melanie, and she knew exactly how to encourage and inspire me. I will refer to her as my home decor therapist going forward! Her service was exactly what I needed -- an objective view of where I am and where I want to go, including current needs with an eye on resale.
Wow, call Melanie immediately if you’re looking for a designer that is personable and interested in helping you design your home in a way that you want! She is amazing! Honestly, she should be on TV. From the first intake form you fill out to the in home meeting, it is clear she is committed to understanding your…
