We had a great experience with Hawaiian Pools! Tracking down a pool leak can be frustrating, but they did an excellent job diagnosing issues in both our spa and our return systems and getting them repaired correctly, even though it took multiple visits. They were professional, knowledgeable, and thorough, and they took the time to make sure they had identified the real problem before completing each repair. Our pool and spa are back to working as they should. Great experience from start to finish!

Jason and his team did a great job building our pool. We sit in front of our waterfall every morning and afternoon. The waterfall is the best. The pool was built to our exact specifications. Great price.

Hawaiian pool company built our pool 21 years ago and have maintained it since it was finished. They have provided excellent weekly service taking care of cleaning and maintaining chemical balance. Each year in the fall they close the pool and in the spring the same group opens the pool. This has been done for 21 straight years without failure and have provided excellent service while maintaining all aspects of our pool. I could not be more pleased with how they have taken care of the pool. Great company with the customer totally at the forefront of their business. Keep up the wonderful work.

We had a great experience with Hawaiian Pools. The timeline was spot on. The crews were right on schedule and lined up perfectly so there was very little downtime between work being done. Kent & Jason are great to work with. The backyard was cleaned up nicely when everything was done. And the ladies in the office are wonderful too!

I cannot recommend Hawaiian pools enough. They not only had extremely competitive prices, they installed this pool so fast people thought we were joking when we said we were swimming in only 2 weeks! We got more than 5 other quotes and Hawaiian did everything in house. Excavation, install, plumbing, electrical, concrete, fencing.

We contracted with Hawaiian Pools to build a new gunite pool in the spring of 2024. It was supposed to be finished by August or September, but it wasn’t actually done until spring of 2025. We now have a beautiful pool. There were two big problems during building, though. The concrete around the pool was not done well and didn’t have the look and feel we were told by Jason we would have. We found someone who would grind the surface to smooth it, and it is good now. They gave us $3,000 credit on our final bill for that deficiency, but it cost us about 3 times that much to fix it. They were also supposed to get an iron fence and 4 gates around our pool. They had two different subs who canceled or failed to show up. It was taking months and no results. Out of exasperation we told them to just credit us the money back, and we hired our own fence company. But by far the biggest problem was the aggravation we had with Jason and Kent while the project dragged on forever. We endured the same problems as another reviewer: they frequently ignored our phone calls and texts while they had disappeared for weeks at a time with no work being done. They’re slow and unresponsive and don’t fully deliver. I cannot recommend them.

Thank you for acknowledging that you ultimately have a beautiful pool. We are proud of the finished product, but we do feel several points in this review need clarification.
We agreed that the concrete finish did not meet expectations and made efforts to address the concern. Kent called multiple times and left messages attempting to meet with you regarding the concrete, but those calls were not returned. Ultimately, the remaining $3,000 balance on the pool contract was forgiven.
Regarding the fence, the original contract included a standard iron fence. After seeing the fence, you requested “puppy pickets” but did not want the standard screw-on style. Our fence contractor then spent considerable time creating multiple custom samples and going back and forth trying to develop an option you would be satisfied with. Eventually, he did not feel he could fabricate something that would meet your expectations. At that point, we mutually agreed that you could hire a fence contractor of your choosing and that portion of our contract would be credited back. And to say we had 2 contractors who didn’t show up is a little unfair. You were well aware of the unfortunate circumstances of our first contractor’s cancer diagnosis.
We certainly acknowledge that this project took longer than anyone wanted, and we understand the frustration that comes with delays. However, we do not believe the statement that we simply “disappeared” or refused to address issues fairly represents the circumstances or the efforts that were made throughout the project.
We also feel the timing of this review is relevant. Despite the experience described here, you continued to call Hawaiian Pools for service after the pool was completed. This one-star review was posted approximately a year and a half later, the same week we were attempting to collect payment for a service call that had remained unpaid for approximately two months despite multiple calls and emails.
We respect every customer’s right to share their experience, including criticism when we fall short. We also believe prospective customers deserve the full context. We stand behind the beautiful pool we built and the efforts we made to resolve the concerns that arose during the project.
What can I not say about Hawaiian Pools and Landscape…from the inception of this pool design Kent and his team have been everything you could ask for when making such a huge investment in your home. Kent is extremely approachable and easy going but never lets that get in the way of professionalism. He has also surrounded himself with sub contractors who he can call on for anything and everything the client needs to complete the pool design flawlessly!
We appreciate all he did and continues to do to make our pool design perfect! It’s so rare in life to where people do what they say they are going to do and actually deliver-he does that in spades!
The crew was always on time polite and kept the project site clean and organized.
If you are considering going with Hawaiian Pools run don’t walk!
UPDATE: Now that our pool project is complete, I wanted to come back and share the finished result! We are absolutely thrilled with our pool and so happy we chose Hawaiian Pools to bring this part of our backyard vision to life.
As an interior designer, I had a very specific vision for how I wanted the entire outdoor space to look and feel, and the pool became the beautiful centerpiece that brought it all together.
We couldn’t be happier with the finished result. Still 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a pool 20 yrs ago. It was gunite in Collierville. My brother built it. It was nice. I spent my career (45 yrs) in the pool business. I wanted a pool again and looked for an east Memphis home. Found one with a 3 yr old Hawaiian vinyl pool. 12 x 26 with deck jets, gray step and ladder and coping … UV light sanitizer, Jandy VS Flo Pro efficient pump. Love it, wife loves it , grand kids love it … blue mesh safety cover. Light color aggregate deck with well done finish … Hawaiian has been around for many, many years. This pool has a Dolphin Proteus DX3 robotic cleaner which is very impressive. Yet it also has a dedicated line for a Polaris pressure side cleaner. They did a great job on this pool during the COVID era when it was harder to get it done. Glad I found this home and with this well built Hawaiian pool. Well done team Hawaiian! Update. It’s 102* in August and Scottie Scheffler just won the Fed Ex St Jude tournament. My pool water is super clear and 82* thanks to the Raypak 65k btu heat/cool inverter heat pump. Keeps it where the grandkids can use the pool from April to October. And the Pentair Intelliflo3 VS pump is super efficient also. Both items are controlled from the phone app. Deck jets are great also.
