Absolutely one of the most awe inspiring experiences I could ever imagine! Adam provided an intimate forest-like setting where we could learn so much about the various raptors he has. He is well trained in Falconry, and displayed his vast knowledge of the birds as well as providing anecdotes about being a falconer.…

My friends and I (4 of us) had the best time. Danny told us about his training and some interesting facts about birds of prey. Then we got to meet a red-tailed hawk and a barn owl. They give you plenty of time to be with the birds and both birds looked very healthy and well-taken care of. I would recommend this…

This was an exceptional experience! Getting to be up close and personal with these birds was incredible. I also learned a ton about them. I highly recommend.

Adam was knowledgeable and welcoming as he introduced us to a hawk, owl, and falcon that he raised and trained himself! He was explained how falconry works and was very knowledgeable about each bird and its training. It was so much fun to watch and experience each bird as it flew and landed on our arm! Una, Adam’s sweet dog, was an added bonus as she happily sat on our laps at the picnic tables. We highly recommend Hawk On Hand to anyone looking for a unique, up-close experience with birds of prey!

My favorite animal is an owl and I've always been interested in falconry as it relates to the cultures of central asia/eurasia. But even if I wasn't, I would recommend this experience! Adam was communicative through email and text in regard to minor changes. The experience itself was informative and engaging, with Adam guiding my group through each step and answering our questions. Despite the park being crowded during the time, he managed the experience well and made it enjoyable for my group. Lastly, this was an experience I wanted to do for my birthday and I was wholeheartedly happy with it! I even bought a hat since I loved it so much. I also left with an increasing interest and love for falconry. Would recommend!

The falconry experience was exactly what I hoped it would be. Adam is clearly an expert, but is also able to communicate a huge amount of information in an engaging and understandable way. Instructions for how to interact with the birds were simple and clear and we were able to enjoy being literally arms-length away from Fox the hawk and Ozzy the owl. Then we watched Lola disappear for ten minutes and come back to whip past our heads, then catch the lure and have a good meal, guarded by the star of the whole day Una. Seriously, Una is the highlight really. Go for the birds, but don't miss Una.

Worth every penny! I surprised my husband with the private falconry experience for our one year anniversary and I couldn't be happier. My husband has loved birds since I met him so I knew meeting and handling birds of prey would be special for him, but Adam and his birds created a magical time I know we will never forget. I still can't put into words how I felt seeing my husband's face light up when Archie the barn owl landed on his glove (or mine for that matter lol). Being in the presence of such amazing animals and learning about them from a professional falconer was truly life changing.

My mom, wife, and I had a private falconry experience with Adam as a birthday present to my ornithophile mom and it was stellar! His expertise is endless and my mom was like the well-informed kid on a field trip asking many questions for which Adam always had informed answers.
Oh, and there are the cool parts where you get to have birds-of-prey fly onto yours and others' arms.
It was an excellent experience and my mom loved it. If you are a birder and/or have family or friends who are birders, I highly recommend Adam's services.
