Hearty Boys

We used Hearty Boys to cater our September 2026 wedding, and it was genuinely one of the best decisions we made! Food was incredibly important to us, and we had a very specific vision for the menu we wanted. Angie was amazing in helping us bring that vision to life. From our first tasting to the wedding day, we felt confident that we had made the right choice. Hearty Boys was responsive, flexible, and reasonably priced, and the food was absolutely incredible. Our guests are still raving about it! One detail that really stood out was that we had a dedicated server on our wedding day who made sure my husband and I always had drinks and enough to eat, and checked in on us throughout the evening. It made us feel really taken care of when there was so much going on. We truly can’t recommend Hearty Boys enough! If you’re looking for a caterer with amazing food, a great team, and a genuinely easy experience from start to finish, they’re the ones to go with!

We almost didn't go to their tasting buy boy are we glad we did. We went to two other caterers before our scheduled tasting with Hearty Boys and figured they would each be good, but for some reason we went to Hearty Boys and were blown away! The food is such a step up from any other wedding caterer we tried. The chef came out with each course to walk us through what everything was and how the flavors worked together. Their presentation was also way better than the other options we saw and took our critiques to heart to make the meal ours. Neither of us are tomato fans so even though the salads came with tomatoes ours didn't, my wife has a garlic sensitivity so her meal was able to be made with other flavors to avoid and issues. All of the food on the night of was amazing and they had a server dedicated just to me and my wife so we never were without a drink and appetizers were always on their way to us as we mingled with guests. It's also obvious that Derek and their entire team are passionate about your night going exactly how you want it to. We cannot recommend them enough.

My company catered a lunch of grain bowls. 67 people signed up for lunch. Our executive admin has lots of experience here as we get lunch catered 4/5 times per month. She usually orders for 10-20 extra people depending on the fare "just in case" and it's a rare occasion that there is not enough food. We usually have leftovers. In this case, since we had used them before and the portions were skimpy, she ordered for 100 people, and you could just tell as soon as it was laid out it would not be enough food... and the head count was just about spot on. The meal consisted of 3 shallow full trays of grains (mostly rice), 2 shallow full trays of shredded chicken, 2 shallow full trays of steamed spinach and (1)10-inch bowl each of shredded carrot, shredded zuchinni and roasted chickpeas with a dressing. While the food was tasty (what there was of it) the value was nonexistent. The cost was insane for the amount of food provided. When she contacted them, they told her that the portion size was 2 to 3 OUNCES per person. And this is at a cost of 14.50 per person. FOR THREE OUNCES OF FOOD??? We ordered for 30 extra people and it was not even close to enough food. Assuming there was 75 people basically a cost of $19 per person and at least 10 people did not get to eat. Per google-An adult-size lunch portion for humans typically weighs about 12 to 16 ounces by weight or volume (roughly 1.5 to 2 cups of total food). For perspective a jar of baby food is 4 ounces and with a name like HEARTY Boys you are serving adults 3-ounce portions? I truly wish I had taken a photo so y'all could see the paltry amount of food they expected would feed 100 people!

Hearty Boys did such a fantastic job at our wedding, with the food as well as just consulting on the event itself. When we did our tasting, we knew pretty quickly they were the top, both because the food was several levels above what we'd tasted with other caterers, and because Derek asked us great questions throughout the tasting to better understand what we needed for our event, and to make great recommendations & help us think through aspects that hadn't even occurred to us yet. We had quite a few people in the weeks after the wedding reach out to say that they've never had better food at a wedding, and that was our experience too! They also staff the event incredibly well, and each of the team members we interacted with was a pro. Definitely add them to your list, and expect them to beat everyone else!

Hearty Boys took on a challenge and Chef Dan executed it so well. We hired them for our Arab American Wedding, and we wanted Middle Eastern inspired dishes and it is known that our cuisine isn't easy to make (even other Arab restaurants don't execute dishes well) and I can confidently say that Chef Dan & Angie did an AMAZING job. Arabs are big on food, and every single guest couldn't believe that we hired an American-based caterer for our wedding and how amazing the food was. Chef Dan & Angie, thank you so much for working with us and even with little hiccups, you both executed our vision so well. It was one of the most talked about things from our wedding on how amazing the food was. Thank you Chef Dan, Angie, and Hearty Boys!

Hearty Boys catered our wedding last month, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. So many guests raved about the food, and after our excellent tastings last year, dinner at our sweetheart table felt like returning to a beloved restaurant for a favorite meal. The only thing better than the food was working with Alyson and the whole staff—they were such kind people, happy to make sure our wedding went exactly how we dreamed, and celebrating with them on our big day was a truly special experience. We couldn't recommend Hearty Boys more!

I am a wedding planner and have worked with Hearty Boys several times. When it was my turn to get married, I knew they were my top choice caterer! I NEEDED to have their pork belly skewer at my wedding. Matter of fact, I received an incredible amount of compliments about the food itself but in particular, the pork belly, which was so fun to share my love of it with my guests. Hearty Boys has an incredible reputation for their level of customer service, attention to detail and overall friendly staff.
