Ebony!!!!! Ma'am!! Let me first just say thank you! I just moved to Ga from KY this past Aug. It has taken me a while to actually build up the nerve to go somewhere to get my hair done. I've been wearing my hair pulled back in a bun for a year. I couldn't decide if I just wanted to get some braids or actually get it done, because in the past, getting my hair flat ironed has not worked for me. But I took the leap and booked an appot with Ebony, and I am more than pleased. I haven't felt like myself in a while and you brought my hair and me back to life. I feel like a grown woman again!! Idk what you did to make it stay straight, but God bless you! And I love the layers! You have NO idea how much you blessed me. I will definitely be back in a few weeks! I booked a consultation with stylist Miss E and her service was amazing. I have micro locks and she informed me that she’s not experienced with my interlocking routine. Which was perfectly fine bc all I needed at the time was a good wash lol. Her energy was so radiant and refreshing I HAD To atleast have her wash and moisturize it.. best decision ever considering no one has touched my head but me in almost a decade. Definitely will be booking again!

This was my first time ever going to a salon. I drove an hour to come here and get a retwist. My appointment was at 8:30 and the stylist was an HOUR late. I waited in my car until she arrived, and when she did, she ended up turning me away because she thought my locs were “too small” and she “didn’t think she could do them”. This stylist claims to have 15 years of experience in the industry. It was my first time ever going to anyone for help with my hair. I have zero experience, and I’m able to do my own locs.
The stylist texted me the evening before the appointment and told me it would be extra because of the quantity of locs I had. I was completely fine with that. I have around 240 locs, and so of course I knew that getting a retwist from a “professional” wouldn’t be cheap. I sent pictures of my hair the day before, and by the manner in which she responded it was clear she didn’t want to do my hair. I honestly should have cancelled the appointment then and saved my time, energy, and gas. I went home, did my own hair, and vowed never to go to a salon again!
I believe the particular stylist who *almost* serviced me was just being lazy. When she reviewed the booking the evening before the appointment, she had decided she wasn’t going to do my hair right then and there. That is exactly why she thought it would be okay to be an HOUR late and ultimately turn me away after completely wasting my time. I was hesitant to write this review because of how overwhelming positive the other reviews are, but this could possibly help someone who also has locs that are on the “smaller” side - Do not go here. I had a 0/5 star experience. The stylist was not mean or disrespectful in anyway. She may even be a kind person! But totality of it all was rude.
