I was stuck on the side of the road while driving across multiple states. The Lady who answered the phone was amazing! She wasn't able to get me in in the timeframe I had available to me, but she walked me though finding what I needed to get my car fixed. thankfully it was an easy fix once I knew what I needed and I was able to fix it myself and get back on the road to my destination. I appreciate them so much for their incredible customer service and their high level of expertise! Thank you!

Came in desperate looking for help on my 2024 Jetta. Ms. Brenda at the front desk was super helpful in every way guiding me in the right direction even helping getting me a tow. I will be back for anything else I need on my VW. Thank you guys 🙏🏼

I have a good feeling that my car could run forever as long as I take it in to get serviced at Herrera Service Volkswagen. These are honest, hard working people! I’m very skeptical about service shops and collision shops alike, but they made sure the process was stress-free right from the moment I dropped my car off. My situation was that my EPC light had come on. I had no idea what the cause could have been, I have a high mileage car and it could’ve been anything. Turns out they found out some of the wires in my car were chewed up(?) including finding some animal feces inside and around the engine bay. As crazy as it sounds, I’m super glad they were able to identify the problem in less than a day. They offered to replace those wires for new ones, and now my 150k mile Jetta runs as if I just drove it off the dealership lot once again! I’m super impressed and amazed. Braking and steering is super smooth once again. Not only that but they gave me a heads up on things they noticed about my car that might need fixing or servicing in the future. While you might not be interested to get that fixed at the moment, it’s at least good to know. This is not to mention the affordable pricing that I was given in such a short notice! I am a super busy person, I asked if I could have a relative pick up my vehicle or contact them because I wouldn’t be able to. They gladly helped with no problem!! The one thing I think could only go wrong is; once you see from the outside how small the shop is, you’re going to have to give them patience. I feel there are not that many VW shops in El Paso County, and even less any honest ones. So it seems these people receive every VW in the borderland they can get which is good for business but again depending on your problem you might be some days without your car because of how busy this place usually is. In my opinion, totally worth it! They’ll update you if you call anyways. Please, please, please! If you’re on the fence about giving them a call go ahead and do it you won’t be disappointed. As far as I know they can do routine check-ups, oil changes, and diagnostics. We all know how much a pain in the bum Volkswagens can be, these people are almost guaranteed to give your problem a solution!

My daughter had her car repaired here and he experience was the opposite of other reviews. Repair was an engine replacement with a portion paid by a 3rd party warranty company. Brenda’s communication throughout the process was terrible and she seldom answered the phone. This caused multiple in-person visits to get updates. However, the worst part was that she jacked the potion my daughter had to pay by more than double the amount that was discussed and agreed up. I ended up having to help on the bill so had a discussion with Brenda and I was not impressed with her transparency. Several good reviews here but I’d suggest proceeding with caution.

We’ve been taking my daughter’s beetle to Herrera Volkswagen for a while now, and honestly, they’re amazing. They fix things right the first time, quickly, and we’ve never had to go back for the same issue. Brenda keeps us in the loop, and even if they’re busy, she follows up. They definitely go the extra mile. Highly recommend!

NO NOTES. I am SO HAPPY to have finally found an honest, fast, fairly priced VW mechanic. Took me YEARS. They switched my clutch in a day when others told me it would take a week. They also charged me honestly, my parts were cheaper than they had quoted me because I needed an older model, so they charged me cheaper. I NEVER would have known they used a different part. If they keep this up in never leaving them. 💯 I basically never do reviews, but good mechanics are so hard to come by.

I had a great experience with Herrera Auto Service! My VW Beetle started overheating and needed a full radiator replacement. They took care of the repair quickly and efficiently. The service was professional and my car is running cool again. Highly recommend them for any auto repairs!
