Was a great experience!! Did a sunset ride for my 2 year anniversary. The trainers Elena and Lindsay were very helpful and kind! Camila is the owner and she offers a very reasonable price!Definitely plan on going again sometime soon!

My girlfriend and I booked a first lesson at Hidden Canyon Riders with zero experience, and I was hooked within minutes. Two months later, I'm still looking forward to every lesson. What makes it special is the instruction. Camila, Lacy, and Elena are patient, knowledgeable, and great at making a big animal feel approachable. The lessons are structured, so you always know what you're working on. In just two months I've gone from nervous beginner to doing groundwork and tacking up my own horse, and I feel confident handling horses on my own. The school and arena are spotless, and the horses are clearly well trained, well cared for, and treated with respect. The whole team is welcoming and supportive, with no judgment, whether it's your first day or you're sharpening your skills. If you've ever wanted to try horseback riding, this is a great place to start. It also makes a fun date idea or a way to try something new with a friend. Book that first lesson. You won't regret it!

Absolutely wonderful horseback riding experience! The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, patient, and friendly. They make you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience, regardless of your riding level. The horses are very well cared for, and you can tell the team genuinely loves what they do. I’ve had such a positive experience here and would highly recommend Hidden Canyon Riders to anyone looking for quality horseback riding and excellent trainers. Definitely a 5-star experience!

We did the 1 hour tour and it was perfect. More than enough time! Definitely wear sunscreen. Horses are well trained. It was our first time and we felt very safe.

Camila was very responsive and respectful. She explained the process and gave recommendations for first time riders since I was booking this primarily for my 9 year old daughter. Her instructors are extremely friendly and educational. They did a great job at reading my daughter’s comfortable levels and diffuse any nerves my daughter had at the moment. We came from Glendale and it is definitely worth it. We highly recommend you come here if you’re a first time or experience rider. They offer trails, summer camp and other services. If it’s your child’s first time, definitely get a package since one lesson will only leave your child with the excitement of wanting to learn more and these memories last forever. I first went to Hidden Canyon Ridders in mid-late May of 2026 for my birthday and ever since my first experience there I fell in love the people, the horses and the environment. Below is an in depth review of my experience as a complete beginner the past 4 weeks. Customer Service: 10/10 The people here are all so kind and down to earth. The lady Camilla who runs the program is so nice and supportive of my goals. She is super flexible with availability changes and is always willing to work with you. My instructor, Lacy, is extremely patient, polite and encouraging. She checks in if I need a break and always gives great pointers for improvement. Both of them were able to work with my specific goal and timeframe by designing our lessons to ensure proper progression. Environment/Culture: 10/10 Here there is absolutely no shame in being a beginner. Every little milestone or improvement is acknowledged by my trainer and is used as encouragement to keep me improving. There are people of many ages and skill levels, so there is no minimum standard of skill to start. Respect and consideration for others is also a big thing here as well. It makes everyone feel appreciated and seen. Horse Treatment/behavior: 10/10 The horses well being is always put first. They aren’t overworked and after an intense exercise they get rinsed down or fully bathed with cool water. The horses are treated with dignity and respect and it shows in their behavior. They’re calm, usually obedient and never violent. I actually thought my thought the horse I’m learning on was owned to my instructor until today. That speaks volumes into how everyone cares for all the horses here. Overall the community here is the most valuable feature for me. I haven’t seen anything special like this before. I implore you to give it a try!

We had a wonderful experience with my 3-year-old’s horse riding lessons! The instructors were patient, kind, and made the experience so enjoyable. My daughter felt comfortable and excited to participate each time. A special thank you to Camilla, who was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process. She made everything so easy and was always friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We truly appreciated her support. I’m so happy I found a great program that is able to accommodate a beginner like myself. Instructor Bella and owner Camila do a fabulous job at each lesson. The horses are wonderful and I look forward to my lessons each week.
