I've taken my dog, Roo, a handful of times now for nail trims and the staff is nothing but exceptional. He is a small guy (chihuahua/mini pinscher mix) and he can sometimes be nervous at nail appointments and wary of his front paws being touched, but he is comfortable with them because they are sweet with him. There…
★★★★★ The only place we trust with our poodles! We have two poodles, and anyone with a poodle knows they need a lot of TLC and careful grooming. Hippie Hounds gets it right every single time. Our pups always come home looking amazing, and the staff are so kind and patient with them. We've tried other groomers over…
Best groomers around. I've been bringing my dogs to Hippie Hound for over 8 years. The BEST!!
Been coming here for 5 years and realized I hadn't left a FIVE star review yet. Aaron (spelling?) and his crew take care of our pups with so much care and love when they come in. So thankful for all the help over the years as my older dog won't let me cut his nails and they take extra precautions with my younger pup that has health issues.
We have been taking our dogs to Hippie Hounds for more than 5+ years. They always take such excellent care of our dogs starting with Laddie-2 and Lili and for the past 2-1/2 years our latest family addition Inky (a rescue from TX). Inky is very relaxed with Hippie Hounds which is not her normal state but then again…
I have a special needs dog that requires extra support when being groomed. Hippie Hound provides great service!!
We love Hippie Hounds. I take ALL 3 of my dogs here ever since they opened! I use the self wash. It has every thing I need and more! The best part is get to leave the hair and mess. One of my dogs is blind, and another has hip dysplasia. The ramps are heavy duty and wide making them and mama happy! They do an…

My Daisy Mae just turned 4 months old and I just got her almost 3 weeks ago it’ll be 3 weeks this coming Saturday and I just love her to pieces and this was her very first grooming session and so they did there puppy to into grooming on her and they said she did so good , I’m a proud pet momma over her this little…
This place is always awesome and the staff is always awesome as well!
I drive all the way from Gold Bar to come here for a nail dremel for my big dog Atlas. They do a GREAT job quickly at a fair price and are so friendly while doing it. I love the staff here big time!
This place is awesome. They treat our babies well. We only go there for walk-in nail trims - it is always in and out in 15 minutes.
The staff here is wonderful! They really know their stuff! Previous groomers have always told me my dogs were reactive, and they were not able to complete the service. I now see that previous places have not taken good care of my dogs! My dogs love it when they come here and they come out all cute and clean! 1000/10 would recommend!!!!!
Very attentive staff, good with even the most reactive of dogs.
Tried this place for the first time today and I’m so excited to have found it! Seriously everything you need to bathe your pup - shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer, combs, treats, etc. They even had time to cut and file my pups nails afterwards! $20 for the tub and $25 for the nails I think. Honestly so worth…
This place was great. Staff was super friendly, they scheduled an appt. 4 days from when I called, their prices are quite a bit less than other groomers in the area, and they were done an hour early! They did put kind of a girly bandana on my big masculine brute of a dog, but he didn't seem to care. Would recommend!
Owners are my favorite
Everyone seems very friendly and seem to love the animals that come in. Except for 1 dark haired man who must be the boss. Loud and rude to other people he works with
My dog has had trauma from having her nails trimmed at the vet and because of this, she’s super anxious. The vet told me I had to sedate her in order for them to trim her nails. I decided to try Hippie Hounds and I’m extremely glad I did. They’re so great with my pit bull and I’m allowed to be with her. I’ll never go back to the vet for nail trims.
They are fabulous with my two who hate getting their nails done. Never get frustrated, just grab another pair of hands to help.
