Hollywood Farmers Market
Hollywood Farmers Market at a glance
Reviewers describe the Hollywood Farmers Market as a convenient, all-year-round venue offering diverse fresh produce, local crafts, and live music. Customers frequently praise the friendly vendor interactions and mention that doubling EBT benefits helps with purchasing power. However, recurring criticisms highlight that prices are significantly higher than chain stores, making the market unaffordable for some, while others note inconsistent parking availability and occasional issues with cleanliness or security.

Updated August 2026: In addition to finding whatever's in season, the Hollywood Farmers Market provides an introduction to local musicians. Some vendors are there every week, others show up more infrequently, but there's always something to see. The market was one of two Portland sights that were on the must-visit list for recent out of town guests. In case you have prefences or pooches, dogs are not permitted before 10 AM, so plan accordingly. A good thing about this market location is that part of it exists in the parking lot for Grocery Outlet, so if you're also looking for things that were not harvested within the previous 48 hours, the supermarket has your back. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Plenty of selection without lots of duplicate vendors. No dogs allowed before 10:00 AM, not a big deal for me, but I know several folks who really appreciate that. Excellent farms represented here.
Parking tip: The Grocery Outlet next door to the farmer's market doesn't enforce their "absolutely no farmer's market parking" policy. I told a Grocery Outlet manager that I saw someone park in their parking lot and then go into the farmer's market. They responded that although they're not happy about people doing it, the store is not inclined to actually do anything about it. So you can totally just ignore the signs and park at Grocery Outlet consequence-free.
First time visiting and I’ve lived in PDX for 4 years. Moved to the Kerns area a few years ago and figured I’d go since it was close and smaller than my usual FM at PSU. I was able to find parking super close and browsed the entire thing in less than a half out. Got what I came for. Amazing tomatoes and some fruit! In and out easy peasy. One thing I did notice about this FM (I’ve also been to the Milwaukie one) is it seemed more local, more diverse and more “crunchy” than the PSU. The one downtown is great but can be overwhelming. Parking is always an issue and it can turn into a 2-3 hour event. Good to know Hollywood is close by but don’t think they’re open year round like PSU. This might be my preferred FM from now on. One thing I thought was funny is that it was in the parking lot of the Grocery Outlet. They even had a tent from the grocery outlet selling things from inside the store I assume?
Hi Erin! We're so glad you enjoyed our market :) We actually are open year-round and are open every Saturday April-December 19th, then every 2nd and 4th Saturday January-March. The Grocery Outlet doesn't sell anything at our market but we love being in their parking lot! Hope to see you again soon.
A nice farmers market right in the middle of the Hollywood district. Lots of food and vendors.
Nice selection of stalls work local vegetable and fruit produce, Honey and a couple of street food and craft stalls.
The Hollywood Farmer's market is BEYOND WONDERFUL!!!! The various food stalls; flower stalls, veggie stalls, fruit stalls, meat stalls, pastry stalls are all so wonderful!! All the people selling things are so kind and friendly. They seem like they love what they do and it is so refreshing to see!! The Saturday farmers market is something I now look forward to every Saturday, especially that one Mexican food spot with the best horchata and green chicken tamale OMG WAYYYY TOOOOO BOMBBB!!!! #VIVAMEXICO! This is such a fun place and always recommend! :) THE VIBES ARE ALWAYS ON 10, there is music playing but it is not annoying it is whimsical and joyous, there are so many dogs and they are all friendly and happy to be around the hustle bustle, it is so wonderful to be around! Also s/o Kevin for free flowers close to close! Awesome selection!!!!
One of the best farmers markets in Portland lots of great vendors and an immaculate farmers market vibe
Uma gracinha. Produtos naturais dos arredores. Pessoas amáveis.
Great market just be aware that Google doesn't reflect their Winter hours as of October 4, 2025. I arrived at 7:55 AM and learned they would open at 9:00 AM. I haven't checked the Market's website for details.
