Joseph Castaneda provided excellent service. He responded quickly after I reached out and let me know he could handle the appraisal, including the cost and how long it would take. The appraisal was done professionally and even arrived earlier than expected. The process was simple and smooth. I would happily recommend him to my friends. Thanks again!

Joe, owner of Home Appraisals, responded quickly to our inquiry and was very patient. Joe answered all of my questions on the visit and with the follow-up phone call that I made. His explanation was clear and helped make the appraisal make sense. I can easily recommend Home Appraisals for a residential appraisal.

I dealt with Mike in this company, based on my experience he was nothing but unprofessional. He wasted time and misled me. At the end of everything he clearly stated he didn’t know what my property is worth. I showed him the latest 3 comps within a mile radius even though he mentioned he couldn’t find them(he wasn’t even looking in the right neighborhood). He blasted the realtors that sold those homes to ask them for private information in regard to the sales instead. I thought I was hiring a reputable company with knowledge, anyone can call a listing agent and do what he did. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

Jorge was never a client of our firm. He contacted us requesting an appraisal intended to support a value well below fair market value for use in a divorce matter. We explained that as state-certified appraisers, we are required to provide independent, unbiased valuations based solely on market data and cannot predetermine or manipulate values. Once this was explained, he chose not to move forward with our services.

Not professional, said one number on site and when they were going to write the information on the appraisal they came up with another numbered followed by them saying they didn't know what the house was worth. If you're looking for an appraiser please don't waste your time with these people. They will not do anything for you.

We have no record of this reviewer ever being a client of our firm, nor do we recognize the scenario being described. As state-certified appraisers, we do not “state numbers on site” or speculate on values. All conclusions of value are determined only after a full analysis of market data, comparable sales, and applicable appraisal standards, and are delivered in a written appraisal report. With over 70 five-star reviews earned over many years, we take professionalism and accuracy very seriously. If this review was left in error, we invite the reviewer to contact our office directly so we can clarify any misunderstanding.

Joey and his team were super responsive. We reached out after finding him on a Google search. They clearly know the area, and they were able to visit our home and complete the appraisal within 48 hours of our first call. The appraisal was very professional and included excellent photos and comparable. I highly recommend Home Appraisals Inc.
