We had an excellent experience with Home Improvement Studio for our bathroom remodeling and whole house laminate flooring project. They renovated our hallway bathroom and master bathroom, installed new McMillan flooring throughout the house, and raised our sunken family room floor so everything the same level. Their customer service was outstanding, and the 3D bathroom design renderings helped us visualize the space before construction began. The team was professional, responsive, and delivered high quality work. We highly recommend Home Improvement Studio for bathroom remodeling, flooring installation, and home renovation. We love the finished results!

Thank you so much for taking the time to sharing your feedback and those wonderful photos of your home! Our entire team at Home Improvement Studio is thrilled to hear how much you love your newly renovated space. It was a true pleasure working with you on your full home renovation project here in Granite Bay. From visualizing the space with our 3D bathroom design renderings for your master and hallway bathroom remodels, to leveling out your layout by raising the sunken family room floor and installing McMillan laminate flooring throughout the entire house, we’re so glad the process was smooth and seamless for you. Thank you again for trusting us with your flooring installation and bathroom remodeling needs and for highly recommending our team. Enjoy your beautifully transformed home!
Stanley ghosted me. He promised to provide a cost proposal after he visited my house for measurements, 3 weeks passed and no cost estimates provided. I kept sending him texts but no reply. It is very unprofessional not to communicate properly to prospective clients. My husband eventually went to the store and Stanley said he has 2 big projects and hence was not able to respond. We will surely understand if they cannot do the project or it will take a while. I lost 2-3 weeks due to waiting where I could already have chosen another contractor. Very bad experience! I surely won't recommend Home Improvement Studio in Folsom.

Hi Lize, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. First, I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in getting your estimate to you and for any frustration it caused. We were truly thrilled to help you select finishes in our showroom and were excited about the vision for your home. While our team was unexpectedly caught up in ongoing project builds, that is no excuse for making you wait, and I completely understand your decision to move forward another way. We hold ourselves to high standards, and we missed the mark on communication timeframes here. I wish you and your family all the best with your kitchen and flooring remodel. If you ever need anything in the future, our doors are always open.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Home Improvement Studio in Folsom. Their design team created realistic 3D renderings that helped us visualize every detail before construction began. They completed a beautiful home addition with two bedrooms, a laundry room, and a bathroom with vaulted ceilings, along with a full kitchen remodel, master bathroom remodel, hallway bathroom remodel, new cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, paint, and texture throughout the house. The quality, communication, and attention to detail were outstanding. Our home looks amazing, and we highly recommend Home Improvement Studio to anyone looking for a home addition or remodeling contractor in Folsom.

Stanley and his crew did a great flooring job on my two story home here in Folsom, my old carpeting was 25 years old and I needed to replace 2200 sqft feet of it with new flooring, we chose McMillan because is was so much thicker than any of the others and the installation went very well. We had two staircases to refloor in addition to the 6 other rooms and a long hallway and everything was done to our satisfaction. I would use them again.

Replacing 2,200 sq. ft. of 25-year-old carpet especially across two staircases, six rooms, and a long hallway is a huge project, and we’re so glad the flooring installation process went seamlessly for you! McMillan flooring is truly a fantastic choice for durability and comfort underfoot, and it looks incredible in Folsom homes. Thank you for choosing Home Improvement Studio as your trusted flooring contractor in Folsom, CA. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to working with you on any future home improvement projects.
Hi Steven! Thank you so much for the great review. It was a pleasure helping you select the right flooring materials for your home and the team takes immense pride in quality flooring installation so we will pass the compliments on. We appreciate your business!
Our home project required countertops and flooring materials that were very specific and not easily obtained. The installation also required tight schedules and coordination with other trades. The entire staff at Home Improvement Studio delivered on every detail. They offered expert guidance and were great to work with. We were very fortunate to have found them.

I had a great experience working with Home Improvement Studio, and I can’t speak highly enough about Stanley, who was my main point of contact. He was truly outstanding throughout the entire process. Anytime an issue came up, Stanley always had a solution ready. He was quick to respond, efficient, transparent, and consistently professional. His industry experience really showed in the quality of communication and the results.
One thing I especially appreciated was being able to access notes and photos throughout the project. It kept me informed every step of the way and gave me confidence that everything was on track.
Our remodel included baseboards, door trim, flooring, floor leveling, painting, and texturing—and the results exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend Home Improvement Studio to anyone and feel completely confident in the quality of their work.

Implementing our new project tracking software has definitely been a game-changer for keeping clients updated with photos, notes and progress updates. We know how overwhelming home updates can be, combining this transparent communication with our premium flooring materials and professional flooring installation can make it a little easier. We appreciate your recommendation and thank you for trusting us with your remodel!
Gave a 1 star rating due to the lack of comunicación,inconsistency when work was being performed . I would not recommend them or the MCMillán floor. I had cabinets and floors done by Standley on Sep 2024 less six months the floor was lifting up from 4 boards and now to the point that it chipped also made him aware of the situation since it happen July 2025 he has been saying his stopping by and still has not shown up! As we are in 2026. will add MC Millán floor does get scratched really easily.

Hi Luis, thank you for your feedback. We take full responsibility for the communication breakdown following the initial material backorders and weather delays earlier this year allowing your project to fall off our schedule was completely on us. To ensure this never happens again, we have since upgraded to a brand new project management system to keep all follow ups tightly tracked. When you brought this to our attention, our team stepped up and arrived the very next day to get to work. Over two days, we removed the floor, ground down the subfloor high spots, poured 8 bags of self-leveling compound, and reinstalled brand new luxury vinyl flooring and baseboards covering 100% of the cost. We were glad to hear on our follow-up call that you are happy with how everything turned out, and we appreciate the opportunity to stand behind our work and make things right.
We had a very dated, ugly house. I didn't know whete to start, and Stanley helped me modernize it with new floors and baseboards. What sets Home improvement studio apart from competitors is that Stanley uses quality, thick floors that you will not find at Home Depot, Lowes, or anywhere else. These floors look elegant, and they will last. Not to mention, his guys are efficient and fast. I also had Stanley build me a walk-in pantry while he was here that has made food storage a breeze. Home improvement studio is your one stop shop for all of your custom build needs. I will be using them again for my future projects. If they are booked out, it's worth the wait for the professional work they deliver. We chose Plato Oak.
