Great experience! Lovely, clean home with extra towels, toiletries, pillows, and anything else we could’ve needed! Especially appreciated the coffee and tea bar! We really loved our stay in DC at one of the Home Sweet City locations! It was very central and made it super easy to get to the different sites. Also, it came with parking which was incredible. The space itself was a one bedroom apartment and was comfortably setup and had everything we needed in terms of cooking, etc. The host was super communicative and we never had any issues. Would highly recommend.

First, this place is clean and like new.
Second, this layout was created smartly. For such a compact space, it felt very roomy. The shower was big, the bathroom sink was cleverly placed.
Third, the place was filled with everything you need in the kitchen. I cooked up scrambled eggs and this made breakfast fast, easy, cheap eating at home.
Fourth, this place is close to walking to down town. The walk is relaxing and was a good time to review the day.
Fifth, this place and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
We would come back to this place again.

We stayed at this Washington, D.C. basement apartment over July 4 weekend, and it was delightful. The location is super, within walking distance of a number of good restaurants and a longer walk to the Mall and other sites. The clean, trendy furnishings are cool and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the pillows and linens are soft and fluffy, so I loved them. There’s an efficient use of space throughout, a nice bathroom, and a really nice refrigerator. We felt comfortable and safe in the neighborhood, too. The hosts were very responsive and quick to help us in several ways. We appreciated that too. We enjoyed a super time worshipping just down the street at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, that has a very friendly community. We would stay here again!

Very nice residence, located minutes from shops, and city access. You can sign up for on street parking/ overnight parking.
House was perfect size for our needs. Would recommend and would stay again.

We loved this place. It was conveniently located and immaculate. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. The rooms and bathroom were spacious. The owner was accommodating and easy to work with. I highly recommend this property.
