The office staff was responsive, and they had quick availability for an inspection when I first called. Chris went everywhere, and found tunneling under the crawlspace which meant I needed a rat slab in addition to the normal vent repair, roof gap sealing, etc. That's a major expense, but the estimate was reasonable based on conversations with neighbors who've had the same work done by other companies, and they were able to start in a few days. There wasn't any sales pressure, and it got on the schedule right away once I responded. The automated text updates throughout the process were nice.
The crew for the job (Josh, Francisco, Clemente, and a bunch of other guys whose names I didn't catch) was great:
- All friendly and professional
- Super clean
- Thorough and detail-oriented, didn't appear to have even considered cutting corners
That's not a fun way to spend that kind of money, but I have no buyer's remorse at all and am convinced I got a high-quality job that increased the value of my house.

We recently purchased a new home and needed extensive work done in the crawlspace, including complete ductwork replacement, rodent exclusion barriers, sealing potential entry points, and installing a sump pump.

Chris arrived right on schedule and provided a very thorough inspection. We were able to get the work scheduled that same week, which was great. The crew was very polite, professional, and hardworking. They spent the day cleaning out the crawl space, replacing the ductwork, and rodent-proofing our home. We really appreciated their prompt service and the work they did to help protect our home. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would recommend them to others!
After doing some research, we decided on Honest Rodent Proofing to handle our rodent problem. They were in our crawspace and garage and we wanted them out! We went with their recommendation and had the rat slab poured in our crawlspace. In addition, they inspected the entire house from roof/attic to crawlspace and found a number of possible entry points. Once all entry points were addressed, they came back every week for three weeks to ensure our rodent problem was taken care of. It ended up taking a couple more weeks but Honest Rodent Proofers were great and insured we were rodent free.
