When we first moved to Smyrna, we started bringing our dogs to the local dog park (Bark Springs) which just happens to be sponsored by Hounds Town. It was great having such a big space for our dogs to socialize that was so close to home. After losing our girl Winnie to epilepsy, our boy Goose became a ghost of himself. He was no longer the spirited, sociable boy we knew him to be. So, we began looking at doggy daycares in hopes it would give him the change in routine he needed. At the recommendation of a coworker, I brought my sad boy to Hounds Town. From the very first day, Goose flourished and the gentle, playful puppy I knew him to be was back. Hounds Town quickly became his second home. It is difficult to put into words just how fabulous the staff at Hounds Town is. They became a second family to my baby boy. He knew as soon as we turned onto Lowry Street that he was going to "school" and couldn't contain his eagerness. He would bust in through the gate and was always greeted with enthusiastic joy. Every single person at Hounds Town loves their job and loves dogs... there is no doubt about that. They treated Goose as if he were their own, and I always knew when I dropped my boy off in the morning for daycare or a weekend of boarding, he was in the absolute best hands. Doggy daycares are a dime a dozen, but if you're looking for a place where your pup will flourish and be adored just as much as they are at home, bring them to Hounds Town. We don't live in the area anymore, and Goose and I miss our Smyrna Hounds Town family so much! You won't regret bringing your pup here.
Ian, thank you. We read this as a team and it got to all of us. We're so sorry about Winnie. Losing her was hard enough, and watching Goose grieve must have been heartbreaking. Seeing him come back to himself, playful and gentle and bursting through that gate every time he came, was one of the best parts of our days. You trusted us with him when he needed it most, and that means so much! He has never been just a daycare dog to us, he's family, and the place feels a little quieter without him. Please give him a big scratch behind the ears from all of us. If you're ever back in the Smyrna area, bring him by. We'd love to see him, and he's always welcome here.

Took my puppy yesterday for his first day , the people in the office were so nice and kind to him ! I was so scared leaving him there but when I picked him up they gave me the cutest report card with how he did and all the dogs he played with! I will be taking him back to play some more and get out the house for a few , He was also so tired when I picked him up he slept the whole car ride home! Thankyou so much for treating him so good and with love

My dog recently had her first day of daycare here and it went very well. The staff was very informative about their entire process and protocols for all types of situations. They went into a lot of detail about everything which made us feel comfortable leaving her there. I love that they posted pictures and vidoes throughout the day so that owners can see their doggos have fun!
