Hudson Hardwood

I had flood damage to my Northwest Philadelphia old stone house. I wanted to have the affected floors repaired, not replaced. Other contractors I had contacted repeatedly told me what they could NOT do. Joe was confident that his company could do the repairs, and I could not be happier with the work. Better than I expected. The entire crew was professional, considerate, and easy to work with. Communication was great. Highest recommendation!

Joe did a fantastic job. The floors are incredible and really transformed our home. His team was professional, thorough, and efficient from start to finish. He was prompt in his initial quote, scheduled us on a tight timeline before move-in, and was a great communicator. He knows his stuff -- we trusted his judgment on several decisions related to finish and trim. We were thrilled to have found this team and would recommend Hudson Hardwood without reservation. We'll be using them again! Special thanks to Marcos for being on site and taking care of our home every day.

I had a great experience working with Joe at Hudson Hardwood. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and generous with his time. He took the time to carefully evaluate everything, answer all of my questions, and explain the different options in a way that was easy to understand. You can tell he really knows hardwood flooring and cares about his customers. I would absolutely recommend Joe and Hudson Hardwood to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy flooring professional.

We can't recommend Joe and his team highly enough! Joe communicated with us every step of the way, paid attention to every detail, and went above and beyond to repair our historic floors. He really understood and stayed true to our vision, and his work truly transformed our house. If you're considering Joe for your floors, you won't regret it.

Joe and his team did a great job refinishing my 60 year old red oak floors to make the look fresh and more modern. Joe was also exceptional at communicating, explaining options, providing guidance, and following up to fix minor items after the fact. Highly recommend Joe and his team, and will use again in the future.

We worked with Joe and his team two years ago to refinish our hardwood floors and replace carpet in several rooms with matching hardwood, and the results were outstanding. Everything was done beautifully, and the floors still look fantastic today. Joe was responsive, professional, honest, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. Even two years later, I still recommend Hudson Hardwood without hesitation. Truly one of the best companies I’ve worked with.

We had our original heart pine floors refinished by Hudson and had a really great experience! We'd had them done about 6 months ago by another company and it totally went awry/didn't cure properly, and decided to go with Hudson to have them redone. Joe was super communicative and really put our minds at ease. His crew were very skilled and efficient, and went the extra mile to minimize dust, etc., since we were living in the house during the refinish. So happy with the results and highly recommend!

We used Hudson Hardwood to refinish our row house floors, and swap out an upstairs carpeted room to hardwood. They were a breeze to work with - got in within 2 weeks of us contacting them (they offered to start even earlier but we had other projects going on), and finished everything 2 days earlier than estimated. Joe is especially communicative and professional. The floors look amazing. They did an especially great job matching the upstairs install to the pre-fab hardwood in the hallway outside. You'd barely know they were installed years apart.

Hudson Hardwood did a great job refinishing my hardwood floors. They look brand new. From start to finish working with Joe and his team on this project was a great experience.
