What I liked the most is that it feels much more natural and peaceful than a typical crowded beach. You have beautiful views of the water, plenty of open space, and it’s a great place to spend several hours relaxing, fishing, taking pictures, watching the sunset, or just enjoying the scenery. One of the coolest things about this park is being able to drive your vehicle onto certain areas of the beach, which makes the experience very different from most beaches. Just keep in mind that the sand can be soft depending on the conditions, so you definitely have to be careful with your vehicle. The park is also a great spot if you enjoy nature and wildlife. The combination of the beach, dunes, water, birds, and views makes the area feel surprisingly wild considering you’re still close to Jacksonville. You can also see ships and military activity in the distance sometimes, which makes the scenery even more interesting. The entrance fee is very reasonable for everything you get, and I would recommend bringing everything you need for the day so you can really enjoy the park without having to leave early. If you’re coming for the sunset, the views can be amazing. Overall, I had a great experience at Huguenot Memorial Park. It’s a really nice place for anyone who enjoys the beach, fishing, photography, nature, or simply wants somewhere peaceful to spend the day. I would definitely come back and recommend visiting at least once if you’re in the Jacksonville area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review from Google · view on GoogleWe visited here on 9/16/26. There is an entrance fee. They have a campground and it looks like it could be fixed up a bit. The beach is nice. The restaurant didn’t seem open at the time we were there. The park is right across from Naval Station Mayport.

They have so much space, shower area, playground, grills, pavilions for party, campsites for tents or rvs, some walking trails, multiple areas of beach. The family beach has less waves which is perfect for the kids! My favorite part is you can drive right onto the beach so none edgewood to lug everything far! Perfect for almost any occasion or just to get out of the house.

But still a great spot to take kids. Have a cooler with snacks and drinks and back rite up to the beach.
