The staff here is wonderful, and the spay and neuter services they offer at a discount for trapped feral cats is a great deal and helps to control the pet population. Bob Barker would be pleased. From a scrawny little white girl in 2016 to a healthy 16 lb beauty, Dora is truly part of the family and I have the Humane Society of Greater Savannah to thank!! The adoption process was painless and cost effective.

I brought in a cat that I found on the street and the staff threatened me talking along the lines of it being my cat even though I clearly stated I found it and brought it in. They said they would refuse me the ability to adopt in the future because I was bringing in a cat from the street, and they said the cat would most likely be killed and not placed into a home. And they tried to make me feel bad by talking about how they would have to chop the cats ear off and probably kill the cat if anything was discovered to be wrong with its teeth during a dental exam. Like what am I supposed to do? Leave the cat in the street? My lease doesn’t allow for cats, I told them this. Truly the most horrific experience I’ve ever had doing something that I thought was helpful. What is wrong with these people?? So condescending and manipulative
