Hunt amplification exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Lowell's services. A rare find with the expertise to modify and repair all kinds for guitar and bass amplifiers.
I brought an old Fender Champ 12 in for repairs. Lowell immediately won my confidence. He was enthusiastic about the amp and he knew its idiosyncrasies like its unique tube driven spring reverb circuit. When the repair was done and I got it back it sounded so good. I was talking speakers with Mr. Hunt and he…
Unfortunately, does not work on studio gear :( lowell was nice enough to provide a referral.
I had a great experience with my Fender Bandmaster Reverb today and will only come here in the future. The cost was beyond fair, even if that’s not a consideration when it comes to something I couldn’t replace. Thank you!
I had a great experience with Lowell. Very friendly and great communication. Thank you!
Lowell is an absolute genius and best in class in his field. If you are looking for perfection and great customer service, look no further. My Ampeg SVT sings like a bird...or rather, thumps like an earthquake! Thank you so much!

I was talking speakers with Mr. Hunt and he connected me with an Eminence Alessandro he happened to have in stock and gave me a great deal. The amp sounds so good I sold a $1500 Princeton Reverb because the Champ does everything I need now. Mr. Hunt is kind, courteous with his customers, fair, smart, and he does great work.

Great service, friendly, honest, fair. It was great talking to staff answers every question I had. I'll be coming here from now on for amp and guitar repair. Highly recommend this place!
A great experience with a very professional explanation of what was needed and ultimately done to fix my amp. It was ready earlier than I expected and rates were very fair. Thank you!
I’ve used Hunt Amplification for over ten years. Always the best work and never a return. Always done right the first time!
I took my GK bass amp to Hunt for an intermittent preamp problem. Prior to moving here from Chicago, 2 other amp repair shops said they had fixed it to no avail. Lowell had the amp for a couple of weeks and determined that it would only fail in the case. It had circuit board soldering problems. Excellent service and very fair prices. There is no better place for amp repair.
