Customers frequently praise the shop for timely diagnostics, transparent pricing, and consistent communication regarding repair progress. Services often involve German vehicle repairs, with many noting that final costs were lower than initial estimates. However, lower-rated reviews highlight concerns about billing for inspections on warranty-covered issues, repeated unresolved mechanical problems, and instances where customers felt pressured to approve additional expenses.

I had a great experience with Import Motor Werks. I recently had a radiator replaced. The technician diagnosed the problem in a timely manner sent me a detailed description of what the problem was.
They worked with my 3rd party warranty company and did the repair in a timely fashion and according to the plan the communication throughout was great.
I recommend them and will be using them again when the need arises.

Import Motor Werks provided exceptional service! The mechanic took the time to do a test drive with me. I really appreciate their great staff and customer service. The final price I paid was a little cheaper than the original quote because they were honest with the time spent on one of my repairs. If you are looking for exceptional customer service and people that go above and beyond, this is the place!

Althea,
Thank you so much for this thoughtful 5-star review! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with Import Motor Werks.
We’re especially glad our technician was able to join you for a test drive and take the time to fully understand your concerns. That extra communication can make an important difference when diagnosing a vehicle, and we want our customers to feel heard throughout the entire process.
We also appreciate you recognizing the adjustment to your final invoice. If a repair takes less time than originally estimated, we believe the final bill should accurately reflect the work performed. Honesty and transparency are extremely important to us, and earning our customers’ trust is always more valuable than simply making a sale.
Thank you for your kind words about our team and customer service. It was a pleasure taking care of you and your vehicle, and we’re grateful for your recommendation. We look forward to being here whenever you need us again!

I placed my car mercedes C250 to the shop with check engine on. Team in a shop did diagnostic and found timing chain stretched. Order parts I aproved cost of repairs and in few days car was repaired. Ranning good. Happy with that. I had received text every day from Danial about progress, very helpful. What am not happy, I didn't get normal print with explanation what they repaired, instead of that I got text, which they sent me every day. The total wich I approved was mutch less, then final total, without explanation. ALSO I decided to look under the hood and found the tank with blu cup fluid for windshield was opened, engine cover was covered with dust.
I highly recommend IMW. Matt does excellent work and takes great care to provide high quality service and repairs. Daniel does a great job sourcing the OE parts I prefer and communicating the progress. Thank you IMW Team!

Peter,
Thank you so much for the 5-star review and for your recommendation of Import Motor Werks!
We especially appreciate you recognizing Matt and Daniel. Matt takes tremendous pride in the quality of his work and the care he puts into every repair, while Daniel works hard to communicate clearly, keep things moving, and accommodate preferences such as sourcing OE parts whenever possible.
Providing quality repairs is truly a team effort, and feedback like yours means a great deal to everyone here. We’re grateful for your trust in our team and appreciate the opportunity to care for your vehicle.
Thank you again for choosing Import Motor Werks. We look forward to continuing to provide you with the level of service you’ve come to expect from us!
