This is an incredible company complete with compassionate, highly skilled and knowledgeable team members. My husband and I are going through an awful situation with our home builder in which we originally thought was great, but time told a different story. IAQs have been the only people we felt we could trust from the very start. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting most of their team, and if you need honest, reputable diagnostics-these are your people. John and Lydia will tell it like it is, Kyle and Cory are both excellent in their own right. We’re grateful to have found them through a difficult situation.

Kyle came all the way to Lakeland to inspect a home that we liked. He did not rush the job, he inspected every room thoroughly and explained everything he did every step of the way. They are extremely experienced and have really good eye for detail. Would recommend to anyone in my family and friends. If there is any mold, they will definitely find it.

I had a mixed experience with IAQS. The positive: John identified what I understood to be a significant duct issue in our first-floor attic. My concern involves the second-story attic and the scope of the inspection. Before the appointment, I notified IAQS by email that the second-story attic was not accessible. I also provided construction photos showing the ducts before drywall and asked whether a borescope inspection could be performed. I was told in writing, “the ducts are not the issue,” and “We do have borescopes on site if needed.” At the inspection, the second-story attic was not inspected as expected. I was told that a smaller inspector could return once access was available. At that time, I do not recall being told that a return visit would involve an additional fee. The ducts were not borescoped from the accessible vents during the visit, and the written report I received did not address the construction photos I had provided. After attic access became available, I was told there would be an additional charge for the second-story inspection. In subsequent communication, I felt my prior explanation about the lack of inspection was characterized in a way that did not fully reflect my emails. My understanding was that access was one issue, while the inspector’s ability to enter the space was another; both seemed relevant to why the inspection was not completed that day. For a comprehensive air-quality and moisture investigation, I would have preferred clearer advance communication about the scope, any return-trip fees, whether borescoping would be used, and how the pre-construction duct photos would be evaluated. I am grateful that the first-floor duct issue was identified, but I was disappointed that the second-story duct system was not fully evaluated by another available method during the original visit.

If you want a thorough and professional mold specialists, these are your guys. Not only did they arrive promptly, but they went above and beyond to make sure that my inspection was done beyond what was expected. Lydia was more than on top of communications and answering any questions I had, and the inspection team was happy to answer any questions I had during their inspection And I was blown away by how thorough the final report was. 5 stars? This small family run business was accurate, honest, helpful, responsive, polite, professional, and amazing at providing the analysis and recommendations needed to find and solve an issue in our home. So relieving to know what is and is not actually needed to tackle the problem, saving us a lot of money with other vendors who are fixing the issues. Multiple times I consulted Kyle after getting a proposal from a vendor and he even talked with a vendor once and walked him through his rationale and brought it back to only what was needed. Very grateful. Highly recommend.
