This co. contacted me because they are a provider for the plumbing coverage I have. I had questions about how they'd do the work, what happens if they couldn't do the work today on a Friday, would I have to wait until Monday, and some more. He got offended because I was asking questions. I said I always ask a lot of questions because I do not go into something like this with my eyes closed. He got even more upset and said if I had somebody else in mind to go ahead. I replied that I had said no such thing. And because I felt intimidated I said to go ahead and set up the appointment. It would be between 2 and 4 today Friday. Mind you their schedule is M-F 8am to 5pm.I would have to wait until Monday with my water shut off! Once I calmed down I called a company I had worked with before, who were courteous, and willing to answer all my questions. They sent a technician right away and did it willingly with a can do attitude. I recommended my plumbing coverage to remove this provider from his contractor list. It is totally shameful to treat a paying customer like this.
At Innovative Trades LLC, we take immense pride in our work and our team, as reflected in our 4.9-star rating across more than 480 customer reviews. When third-party warranty calls are dispatched, our intake process requires honest, clear communication regarding scope, diagnostic timelines, and weekend scheduling constraints. While we always welcome questions, we also maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding hostility, unrealistic demands, or mistreatment of our staff. As an independent service provider, we reserve the right to decline or cancel service when a constructive, respectful working relationship cannot be established. In this instance, when it became clear we could not align on expectations, the appointment was canceled so you could proceed with a provider better suited to your preferences. We wish you the best with your plumbing coverage and future repairs.
