Jay indicated that he had applied spray around the base of the house except for an area where I have dried bush and tree pruning debris and stated he was unable to get to the base of the house where I have my flower beds. I noticed in some spots that he sprayed the siding above the level of the plants. I told him I’m not going to dig up my flower beds to have 3’ of clearance and showed him he could get behind some of the taller plants (rose bushes) since there is no vegetation at the lower stems and branches. I told him I have had spiders including one Recluse which he was surprised by.But I had taken a picture of it and my daughter and granddaughter had looked it up on the internet and identified it by the picture I had taken. He did sprinkle additional granules on the flower beds and told me that it would form a barrier that the spiders would have to crawl through. He removed one small yellow jacket nest from an upper eave since I told him I had seen some yellow jackets flying around the corner of the roof. He told me he had use a pole sprayer to reach into a storage area under my 2nd story deck that hast a locked chain link fence around it. He also indicated that he granulated the lawn and sprayed around my shed. He explained the difference between webs made by mites that cover arbor vitaes and regular spider webs and that if I notice any webs that are made in the bushes by mites the I need to have a tree specialist deal with those (at this time, there are none of those except in the trees and bushes at the chain link fence at the back of my yard. He stated that if I notice any more insects around the perimeter of the house that I can call and he will come out and repeat the treatment. He was very respectful and helpfully explained what he had done and answered my questions. The expense for this service is set up to be billed monthly for a year of $59/ month which comes to $710 for the year. It’s pricier than another pest control company I was using , but I switched because the business office didn’t deposit my monthly payments every month and the third time over 2 years that they said there was a problem with my account, I decided to change companies. The problem was that the office person would hold onto the checks my bank sent each month and deposit batches of payments ranging from 3 to 9 payments at one time.
