We had high expectations for Integrity Air Care given the numerous 5 star reviews. However, I was very disappointed with the actual customer service. At best, the job they did seems adequate and not worth the price premium.
We had never had this service done at our house (which was almost $1,000 for 1.5 hours' worth of work). During the walk thru, I was told of numerous add-ons ($350 for condenser cleaning, $75/each bathroom vent add-on, $800-900 for increased insulation, etc.). I admittedly did have a lot of questions given all of these recommendations, but did not appreciate the technician being smug/condescending and saying "maybe you should just get a job with me since you have so many questions." Multiple comments like this were made, to the point where I was frustrated and cancelled all of the add-on work (including the condenser cleaning which I previously approved). I just wanted him to leave our house.
There just seemed to be a general lack of professionalism. This is supposed to a locally owned company. The truck that pulled up was an unmarked pick-up with Florida plates (with absolutely no branding that it was Integrity Air). Additionally, the technician was a different person than who the automated messages said was coming. While that's not typically a problem, this whole process didn't generate much trust. This is very different than our other vendors, like our exterminators, who come in uniforms, branded trucks, and send you a picture of who to expect. When some random guy walks through your house to provide a service that you've never had and keeps trying to add new expensive services, it seems natural that a customer would have questions about the process.
While we got pictures at the end, there was no "before" and "after" shots showing the work. Instead, it was about 20 miscellaneous pictures of different vents (some clean and some not as clean). No side by side comparisons so we could see what was done.
Finally, our invoice referenced a $35 dollar discount for new customers, but it was applied to an estimated future job (which we declined) and they inexplicably didn't apply it to the portion of the job we purchased today and paid for.
In the end, very disappointing. Can't say I'd recommend this company.
Extremely satisfied with their work. On time, efficient and knowledgeable. I just referred Integrity Air Care to 3 friends! Will definitely be using their service again.
