I had a great experience learning at ILI. In Chris’s class, we learned how to use Color Vowel to improve our pronunciation. I found this method especially helpful because, as someone learning English as a second language, it helps me produce more accurate and natural sounds. We also learned many useful phrasal verbs, which helped me better understand and use English in everyday conversations. Chris was a great teacher, and I really enjoyed the class. I believe what I learned at ILI will be very helpful for improving my English communication skills.

I have such fond memories of working with the staff and students at ILI! It was truly a formative experience for me to do my TESOL certification in my early career as a teacher. When I tell people that I have a Master's degree in Education, I also tell them, "but where I really learned how to teach was from doing my TESOL certification at ILI." And that is so true! Over the 17 years that I've taught in higher education, I must have referenced the importance of "activating schema" a million times, a key strategy I learned in the program. So much of the course has stayed with me throughout my career as an educator, because it taught me effective teaching strategies to use with diverse students, no matter the subject I was teaching. You also learn a lot about second language acquisition - something every good teacher should understand. I highly recommend ILI's TESOL program, it will truly change your life!

If you are interested in meeting kind and interesting people while learning a language or just maintaining your foreign language, ILI is THE place in Northampton. The place is staffed with interesting and helpful people and their passion for language acquisition is contagious. And for extra credit, the classes are fun, and they always bring smiles, laughs and a lot of support from your classmates.

We're so happy with the private French lessons our two kids take with Sabine. We're grateful the school and Sabine are willing to work with our little kids (8 and 5 years old) and we have seen a significant improvement in their speaking and even writing skills after only six months.

Very awesome

One of the best language schools in Massachusetts. The friendly staff and dedicated teachers make you feel right at home. I am dropping off my wife for her classes, spend some time there, and the welcoming atmosphere adds to the positive experience.

I am incredibly grateful for this amazing school. In just three months, my English has improved so much, and I have made lifelong friends. From day one, I learned things like the past perfect, which I never understood before. Everything just seemed to be so complicated for me before ILI. Everything about this school is special, and every day is exciting and unique. It truly is the best English school in the world, and I'm already missing them so much! The teachers and directors are simply fantastic. They make you feel at home. Thank you, ILI, for everything. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Thamires, Brazil.

Good, but he tends to learn conversation more than writing or reading. Also, the standards are low..their prices are very high compared to the prices of other institutes in the rest of the states..the teachers are nice.
