We rented the following for our wedding and had a very positive experience, working with Yolanda especially. My only complaint was about the microphone quality, both the wired and wireless had feedback and connectivity issues, but I did get the cheapest option. Otherwise the quality of everything (speakers, tables, lines, podium, benches) was great. Delivery/pick up teams were on time and easy to work with. Less than a week before the wedding we realized we needed to add 2 tables to the order and it was no problem.
A good rental company with a good reputation lots of products willing to assist. I am a commercial caterer so I use them in a professional capacity, which works great.
Rented 2 beer meister kegerators for my son's wedding. Everything went as planned and I was able to keep them for the entire weekend and just paid the single day rate. Bargain!
It was a pleasure working with Interstate Special Events. We were in crunch time securing a tent canopy for my daughter's 200-guest outdoor wedding event. Not only did they offer a reasonably priced rental estimate, the communication, scheduling adaptability, and delivery was excellent. Alex was very helpful from the first phone call to the follow-up and confirmation calls. Oscar was so professional as the lead for the delivery team, especially when they experienced a conflict with the venue. And Becky called to reassure me of resolution of the conflict and the set-up being completed.
Our guests were so relieved to have the canopy on the day. I can't recommend ISE enough! Thank you for working to make a stressful situation less so with your professionalism, communication, and effort. Keep up the good work!
Interstate Special Events was absolutely the best choice for our wedding day! From the start, their communication was excellent — they made me feel truly seen and heard, which is so important when you’re planning such a big event and relying on a rental company you can trust.
They were punctual, professional, and incredibly patient. I had submitted floor plans in advance, but had to make a few last-minute adjustments on the day of — and they were so accommodating. Their team clearly cared about making sure everything was perfect and stress-free.
On top of all that, they were very budget-friendly without compromising on quality. No minimum order required, and yet the service and products felt just as high-end as any 5-star vendor.
I’m so grateful to them and wouldn’t hesitate to choose them again. Highly recommend!
Great experience working with Interstate Special Events! We rented bench seating for a wedding ceremony and were very happy with the delivery and pick up process. The crew were professional, on-time, and efficient.
I was headed east on Lombard this morning (Sat 21 Sep 2024 at ~11:30am) and had to make a left turn. I slowed and signaled. The Interstate Special Events truck was behind me. He waited 10 seconds and then decided to lay on his horn. I can't make the left turn any faster. Please think carefully before hiring a company with impatient, discourteous drivers. :( Maybe next time the driver's impatience could lead to someone getting injured.
