Awesome gym!!! Had to get a workout in at Iron House Strength & Conditioning in July and this was exactly the kind of true American gym I was hoping to find during the trip. The atmosphere was awesome — proper equipment, plenty of serious training going on and that old-school American gym feeling. And the pump I got was absolutely epic. Definitely one of those workouts where you walk out feeling like your T-shirt suddenly got a size smaller. I also got the mandatory gym introduction from the staff, which I’m starting to believe is just the American way of doing things. It was a really nice touch and made the whole visit feel much more personal. Then came the sauna section. When the guy introduced me to it, I obviously had to tell him that “sauna” is actually a Finnish word. He had no idea! We had a good laugh about it, and he said he has to start telling people that from now on. So I may have made a tiny contribution to American sauna education 😂 Really nice encounter, great people and an awesome workout. Exactly the kind of gym experience I was hoping for in the US. Great gym. Great people. Epic pump. And a little Finnish education on the side.

In town for the day and this is a real lifting gym with a community vibe. Friendly staff and trainers. Trainers pass the eye test. If you are looking for a commercial gym just to stay minimally active with massage chairs, don’t come here. If you are looking to put in work and get a great workout with likeminded…
Out of all the gyms, my husband has taken me to this one is absolutely the best I went on a day pass and I think I’m definitely gonna become a member
Very friendly, staff is super knowledgeable. There’s plenty of equipment and it’s always so clean! And the nutrition room is pretty awesome.
I’ve been to a lot of gyms around town and there’s always a few pieces missing that make me feel like my training isn’t complete but that is not the case at Iron House! All of my favorite pieces are in one place and I don’t feel the need to bounce around between gyms. It’s a very inclusive gym and everyone is here to work on their goals💪
I have never felt more comfortable at a gym in my whole life. I am just getting back into working out, and at this gym you see every level of fitness and every level of experience. The staff is amazing and super approachable! I know I can stop and ask any staff or coach for help and they are happy to assist. The…
Best gym I've ever been to. A positive uplifting community, and it seems to be the top pick for all musicians in Nashville. 11/10 recommend to lock in and change you physique. It also has 4 separate areas you can work out in, and it's never overcrowded so you don't have to wait for a machine. They provide peptides,…

Iron House is a really good gym, especially for people who take their training seriously. The equipment and overall environment make it a great place to train, and I really enjoy working out here. The main thing I wish they would reconsider is the tripod/recording rule, especially not being able to use tripods from 3–7 PM. I understand having rules to make sure people aren’t blocking equipment or getting other members in their videos, but completely restricting tripod use during those hours feels unnecessary. There are a lot of serious lifters who need to record their sets for their coaches, check their technique, or create fitness content. For some people, 3–7 PM might also be the only time they can train. I think allowing recording throughout the day while having clear rules about where tripods can be placed and making sure they don’t interfere with other members would be a better solution. Overall, Iron House is still a great gym, and having a little more flexibility with recording would make it even better for serious lifters.
Best gym in Tennessee by far. Definitely recommended.

If you are looking for a commercial gym just to stay minimally active with massage chairs, don’t come here. If you are looking to put in work and get a great workout with likeminded people, come here. Dbs up to 160, smiths, barbell racks, bench racks, pendulum squat, belt squat, and all the machines you can want. If I lived in the area this would be my gym.

Great place for strength and cardio
Great Coaches and only positive attitudes towards each other, I love it!
Annie, thank you for the kind words. The coaching team at Iron House works hard to build a culture where members lift each other up, and it means a lot to see that come through. Grateful for the shout out. - Thera, Co-Owner
great trainers and equipment
Christian, six words and five stars. Efficient. We respect it. Glad the training is hitting the mark, Coach Zack sets a high bar and we keep the iron worthy of it (two of everything, real plates, no waiting). Thank you for being part of the family. Welcome Home. Thera, Co-Owner
Since 2016, i have called Iron House home. There is a reason i have been a loyal member of Iron House for 10 years now. From a Nashville local - born and raised - this is hands down the best gym in Middle Tennessee. Iron House combines the old school atmosphere of an Arnold style gym with new school culture, inclusiveness (all races, ages, and personalities of people) and investment of capital from a dedicated gym owner and operator ( Jeff Black & Thera ) From day 1, Jeff & Thera have consistently sought to improve Iron House financially & it shows. Recently, the acquisition of numerous saunas & salt air therapy have placed Iron House in a tier of its own. Name your style of training & this is the gym for you - Body Building? Power Lifting? Cross Fit style? I assure you, Iron House has what you need for your style of training. I am a current Army Reservist , and Iron House suits my training to a tee - Strength & Cardio needs both met with precision. Come in, Try a guest pass, and see for yourself why i have stayed loyal for 10 years. From someone who has stepped foot in every single gym in Middle Tennessee, Iron House will always be called home.
Ben, ten years of showing up says everything, and this review means more than you know. Iron House has grown alongside members like you who bought in early and stayed the course, and it is an honor to serve the Middle Tennessee lifting community while you serve our country. Jeff and I are grateful for the trust, and we are proud to keep investing in the recovery amenities, coaches, and equipment that make Iron House the best strength and conditioning gym in Nashville. Here is to the next ten. Welcome Home. - Thera, Co-Owner
