My shy daughter really appreciated working with Sarah. They have so much in common and have connected so well.
We bounced across three time zones this quarter, but Tess somehow kept my 10th-grader on track through it all. Her quick five-minute Loom recaps were gold!! Simple, clear, and exactly what we needed after chaotic travel days. My kid’s geometry grade jumped from a 79 to a 93, and the SAT prep turned out to be way…
My 9th grader’s been loving her time with Ivy Tutors. Casey’s been awesome, helping her nail math and writing while keeping it chill and even fun. No stress, just a comfy vibe to learn. Totally recommend them.

We’re so glad Sarah and your daughter connected so well - thank you for sharing this!
We bounced across three time zones this quarter, but Tess somehow kept my 10th-grader on track through it all. Her quick five-minute Loom recaps were gold!! Simple, clear, and exactly what we needed after chaotic travel days. My kid’s geometry grade jumped from a 79 to a 93, and the SAT prep turned out to be way less stressful than we expected. Tess made it feel doable, even with everything going on. We went from daily freak-outs to actual confidence. I owe you coffee when we’re back stateside 🙂
Thanks, Ally! So glad Tess made it all feel doable

Your student's academic profile is very closely matched with a tutor who has a high level of proven proficiency in the course. Alexander Academy first helped my son when he was studying for the ACT his Junior year in high school. Not only was his tutor fantastic generally, he also helped him to bring his score up to the 98th percentile (which helped to get him into his Early Decision college). We’ve also used Alexander for select high school subjects along the way and every tutor we’ve had has been great. Suffice it to say that Alexander Academy has been our go-to company for all academic support.
Thanks for the great review Nicole!
Got exactly what we needed from the individualized instruction and just generally being a great cheerleader for our student. Our tutor was also available to communicate regularly with us parents if we needed anything from them. I feel like our tutor took a vested interest in our student getting their top score and we ended up getting into top tier engineering programs.
Thank you so much for the great review Deblina!
Alexander Academy has done an excellent job with our Agape Youth and Family Center students. We recommended them! Matthew was always detailed in his communication, and his team, Alix and Tess, were flexible and very supportive. Thank you!
My daughter benefited greatly from the SAT tutoring at Alexander Academy. She found her instructor to be knowledgeable about SAT strategies and he helped her improve her score on both sections. We will definitely be using their services again for our son when he begins to prepare.
Thank you Melissa!
Life-saver! My son worked with Alexander Academy's writing consultants and it was very helpful. We appreciated the detailed notes they provided, and availability of the tutors. Thank you!
Thank you Benjamin!
We highly recommend Alexander Academy for test preparation. They tutored both of our kids (SSAT and PSAT). Our daughter had a significant improvement in her SSAT scores and was able to gain acceptance into all top 5 of her school choices. Our son also had a significant improvement in his writing and language scores on the PSAT.
Thank you Nikkia-- we enjoyed working with both of them!
