My friend & I decided to do something fun & relaxing and chose this place. We weren't expecting the outcome. We legit had such a great time crafting! We can't wait to go back with our friends and family. I'm moving up to the Scotch Plains area soon & I'm going to have them at my housewarming since they're willing to travel. We highly recommend coming here or hiring them for parties!! Amazing place & service!
I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a few hours creating beautiful trays and wine glasses on wed. We were greeted by Joanie when we walked in and she showed us around. She was extremely knowledgeable , helpful and sweet. By the time we were done we were fast friends. I cannot wait to go back and create more beautiful pieces! If there was a way to give this place 100 stars , I definitely would. A must !!!!

Janelle and Alyssa hosted a great event for our employees. It was fun, engaging and we love how our ocean resin boards turned out! Awesome idea for team building/employee engagement for your company. They were able to join us on-site at our office and brought everything we needed for a successful craft night.
Had my daughter’s 4th bday party here and it was absolutely fabulous. The owners are so sweet and helpful, made everything a breeze. They were super organized and responsive as well. And most importantly all the kids had a blast. Highly recommend!!

I recently hosted a 25 person birthday party for my fiance's 30th birthday at J&J Art Studios and we had such an incredible time. Joanie and Jenelle were so amazing from the beginning of my planning stages all the way through the night of the event. Having tried all kinds of artsy classes like pottery making/painting classes over multiple states, we were delighted by the unique art options we could make that we'd actually use or hang in our home. We selected the sea glass art and pressed flower art and I'd say just about everyone was happy with the results! Aside from the activities, the studio is spacious, and we felt like we had more than enough room for our party plus food and drinks that we brought. I highly recommend J&J Art Studio to everyone who likes making art. I know a lot of us are already talking about going back with other friends and family we know.

This place was such a cute and fun experience! My friend and I took our daughters for a mommy and daughter girls day and had the best time..joanie was the BEST and most helpful! She helped the girls with their sea glass project and put their mind at ease that they could complete it on their own with any help needed...she was so kind and supportive! What a great and unique place...awesome for parties too! Will definitely return!

We found a class advertised on J&Js website. I booked the class for my mother’s birthday and drove over an hour to get there just to find the place completely closed with absolutely no notice or communication beforehand. We tried calling multiple times and got no answer. When someone finally responded about an hour later, we were told the AC was broken and that we were “supposed to be called” to let us know they were closed. The manager said she would get back to me to come up with a solution. Come to find out, the AC actually wasn’t the real reason the class was canceled. Apparently there were only two of us booked, so they never ordered the materials for the class and just never informed us that they were not holding it. They tried to make up for it by rescheduling us for the next day, only to cancel AGAIN the day of, saying we couldn’t be there while someone fixed the AC. The lack of communication, organization, and honesty was extremely frustrating, especially considering this was planned for a birthday celebration. They wasted our time. We rearranged plans for a business that couldn’t even properly notify customers about cancellations.
Hey Jordyn! Nice to hear from you again. We spoke to you this morning and tried to rectify the situation, however we’re sorry this still didn’t meet your expectations. We tried to be upfront and honest with you as we have no control over our ac/heating system down and have you and your mom come to a class free of charge. Sorry we couldn’t accommodate you, but hope you still enjoy your moms birthday 😀
I had the best time doing the mosaic's.. it was very well put together and the connection with animals was priceless … I can’t wait to attend another event… The staff is so sweet n the owners are the nicest people . Thank you for an amazing day ….
