It feels like I’ve been stolen from. I’m a single woman with no dependents, and they charged me over $300 to file my taxes and that’s with a COUPON (which took over $100 off). I’ve never paid an agency so much to file taxes before. 0/5 I would NOT recommend… unless you want your money taken from you. Absolutely ridiculous!

Cierra, thank you for sharing your feedback. Your feelings of being scammed are disheartening to hear, and that is not an experience we would ever want for any of our clients. We’re glad a coupon was applied to help offset some of the fees, and we are sorry it still felt like more than you expected. Several factors can affect the final cost of a return, and we are sorry if that was not communicated clearly before filing. Every client has the right to review their fees before filing, and if that was not your experience please contact our Care Team at 800‑234‑1040. We value your feedback and are committed to improving your experience. Thank you for choosing Jackson Hewitt.-Asia, Jackson Hewitt Care Team
My preferred tax preparer Debra Luckeydoo is a master in her craft. If you do stocks, k1, options or anything the other tax preparer services won’t offer then Jackson Hewitt is the place to go. As a person who owes every year she does miracles to get me the lowest tax owed. She is my go to preparer every year and a pleasure to work with.
