Customers frequently praise the friendly, professional, and efficient service provided during tax preparation, noting that staff members often explain deductions and assist with missing forms. However, several low-star reviews cite significant discrepancies between quoted and final prices, with some customers reporting unexpected high fees for simple returns. Additional criticisms include perceived inaccuracies in tax calculations requiring amended filings and unresponsive customer support when disputing charges.

The preparer i had was very nice but wasn't very helpful when using deductions to get the most out of your Tax returns. Unhappy because now I have to file an amended tax return which will cost another $230.. Jackson Hewitt Tax Preparer wasn't helpful enough to get their client the most tax return possible.

Went in to do my taxes, I didn't have one form . Tax specialist went on line and got it for me. Instead of making me wait. Thank you for that.
