I am writing this review with great enthusiasm and respect for James who I am proud to say is my guitar teacher. James possess the knowledge and talent to perform along side world famous acts like the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and John 5, just to name a few. Instead, James has dedicated himself to give people like me the gift of music. For that, we students are quite fortunate. James will learn the way you learn so he can taylor your lessons in a way that allows you to absorb and retain the material and music best. James makes the experience enjoyable and fun and there is no shortage of encouragement and compliments, even when you get frustrated with yourself. I have been his student for about a month and I am able play some of the songs from my favorite band and guitarist. Not perfectly mind you but getting there a piece of the music at a time. I'm a beginner guitar at a late age (26) and started taking guitar lessons about 2 months ago from James. He has been so helpful through my guitar learning journey and is super flexible to teach me whatever I want to know about the guitar. Great guy and great lessons!
My 16yr old son loves the guitar. James has been a wonderful teacher for him. He is so good about getting to k ow his students, what types of music they are interested in, their goals ect. It’s been such a wonderful experience for my son! Highly recommend James for anyone learning to play the guitar.

I am over 60 Years old, have 2 hearing aids and have never played an instrument. My wife gave guitar lessons from James to me for Christmas and none of this phased him at all. From my 1st lesson with James , I felt so comfortable learning everything about the guitar, songs, notes etc. I already had an acoustic guitar I was trying to teach myself how to play, but when James showed up for my 1st lesson with his electric guitar (not plugged in) I was amazed how much better I could hear the cords on his electric guitar and how much easier it was to hold and play. . . . . and now I have an electric guitar too! I have learned soo much in just 7 months. From the song's I want to play, to learning all about my guitars' and how to play them. His knowledge is vast and his patience and listening skills are outstanding. I feel like I am learning guitar from a friend. Thank you James for making my dream come true!

I have been taking lessons from James for just over a year. James takes time to learn what music interests me and has the patience to help me as I begin learning the guitar. I would highly recommend him for any to anyone that wants to learn or get better with the guitar.
