Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

I visited tonight around 11:40pm for a nice treat just to be greeted by a rude employee. I did not get her name but she is a beautiful young lady with curly hair with a bad attitude. We entered the building and she gave us the ugliest face then proceeded to say yall can move down in a disgust tone. No hello no welcome in no nothing. We simple were looking at the ice cream flavors. Customer service skills are terrible and training needs to be done ASAP or she doesn’t need to work in an environment that deals with communicating with customers from when your shift starts till close. Her other employee also stated she was acting in that manner because it’s late.. that’s no excuse. I am not happy with the customer service but the ice cream is always lovely!

Ice cream is delicious but the pricing is what you'd expect from a boutique ice cream shop. Nice staff. Paid street parking.

After watching Atlanta United lose on Saturday, we decided to bury our sadness in ice cream. We joined the line of devoted Jeni fans in a drizzling rain, making new friends and talking as we inched our way to the door. We could see the small staff through the window feverishing working, taking the time to genuinely serve each customer as they made it to the counter. Finally making it through the door, we watched an employee (Jordan) replinish the waffle triangle toppers. She efficiently worked the waffle iron, ensuring every triangle met the expected quality standards. This was purely evident by watching the attention she was giving to the process. She kept the other employee focused and on task, as the line slowed and grew. When a piece of equipment began to malfunction, Jordan jumped in, took control of the situation, resolved it promptly, and got back to serving customers. When conversing with her and after asking, we learned they had multiple call outs which had made them understaffed. In spite of the challenge, we heard no complaints, just smiling faces and amazing ice cream! We don't know Jordan, but we felt she should be recognized as an amazing employee! She's the type of employee, we'd hire ourselves - focused, friendly, quality focused, problem-solver, and providing a great customer experience! You rock, Jordan! The Brambleberry Crisp flavor is definitely a winner, too!

This is my favorite ice cream shop of all time! You can smell the delicious waffle cones before you even walk in. The employees are usually very friendly and offer samples if you’re having trouble choosing a flavor. If you go after 7 p.m., expect a line, but trust me, it moves quickly, and it’s worth the wait!

Excellent spot for late night ice cream

I’m extremely disappointed in the “NEW” serving size. I would rather drive down the street to Kroger and get a pint of ice cream for LESS than to pay $9 for this again.

the wait time at this location is consistently disappointing. on the busiest days and at the busiest times they only have 2-3 people working and only 1 person would be scooping at a time. it is honestly worth your time driving to any of the other locations in atlanta for faster and friendlier service.
