Where do I even begin? After indulging in their amazingly delicious pastries every time we’d run into them at farmers markets, my fiancé and I finally had the privilege of attending one of Jenny & Nathan’s cookie decorating classes and it was such a great experience. If you love design, art, and pastries, this class is the culmination of all three. I’d describe it as the Bob Ross of pastry decorating. It’s creative, relaxing, surprisingly challenging, and you get to eat the art afterward. The studio itself is beautiful. It has this minimalist/industrial aesthetic, and you can tell everything was designed with intention. Jenny & Nathan even built the work tables themselves, and that same keen eye for design translates directly into their bakery, pastries and work. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel welcome. They provide snacks (their own delicious pastries, of course) and a variety of drinks while everyone gets settled. Then Maestro Jenny carefully guides you through the class with a live demonstration, breaking everything down step by step. Afterward, she walks around, engages with everyone, answers questions, and gives advice and direction whenever you need it. She makes it look like a piece of cake(pun intended). Also you get this dope box for your cookies to go, and it comes with a custom label that states "made by ______". Small intention things like this feed my soul. The vibes from beginning to end were immaculate, especially the music. We also met some really interesting people at our table, so there’s a community aspect to the experience that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this experience for people of all ages. Whether you love pastries, art, design, want a fun date idea, or just want to try something different, you should absolutely give one of their classes a try. And obviously, you NEED to try Jenny & Nathan’s pastries. They’re phenomenal. If you live in El Paso and complain that there aren’t enough novel, creative, cool things to do here. This is exactly the kind of thing we need to support. If we want more cool things, we’ve gotta support cool people doing cool things so we can get more of it. 10/10 experience.

I took my family for a cookie decorating class! It was a lot of fun! Jenny was a great instructor and super helpful throughout the class. The vibe was awesome and the treats offered to us were delicious! We will definitely be back!

I have gone to two cookie classes, a cake decorating class, and have ordered a birthday cake from Jenny. It is ALWAYS a fun time and so delicious!!

I’m a huge fan of Jenny’s Bakery! I have been for years! I love their style, the innovative desserts, and the quality of their work. Not to mention, Jenny and Nathan are so nice and helpful! They are truly one of a kind artists. I highly recommend them every chance I get. Especially their cookie classes! They’re so much fun and worth every penny! Their studio fits big group and their classes included everything you need! So if you’re eyeing their products or one of their classes, let this be a sign to go for it! Their confections are as good as they look!

We’ve taken several cookie classes with Jenny’s Bakery and they’ve all been amazing. They’re fun, a little challenging (in a good way), and you learn a lot. We’ve gone five times already and still plan to go back for more. It’s perfect for a date night or a fun hangout with friends. These classes are always a treat—pun intended! I’d recommend anyone try them, even if you have no experience.

My fiancé and I took a Valentines Day cookie class with Jenny and we had so much fun! It was so cool working together to decorate our cookies as well as learn all the different techniques too! Jenny is an awesome teacher, she’s patient, kind and encouraging! Not to mention, the treats she had for us to enjoy while decorating and the emo music she had in the background was *chefs kiss* 🤌🏼 My fiancé and I will definitely be doing another class soon! ☺️

I’ve attended two cookie decorating classes at Jenny’s Bakery Studio—a Valentine’s class and a Hello Kitty class—and both experiences were absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You’re greeted with friendly smiles and even offered cookies, cake slices, and beverages of your choice, which immediately makes you feel comfortable and excited for the class. When you get to your seat, everything is fully set up and ready for decorating. The instruction is fantastic—Jenny herself teaches the class, and she has made cookies for some incredibly famous people! She gives clear, step-by-step guidance and walks around the room to make sure everyone understands and gets help if they need it. Not only did I have a great time, but I also learned new decorating techniques. Both times I attended with family, and we ended up meeting really friendly people at our table as well. It’s such a fun and social environment. I would 10/10 recommend these classes. They’re fun, instructive, and a great way to try something new. Whether you’re planning a girls’ or boys’ night, a family outing, or even going by yourself, you’ll have an amazing time—and you might even leave with new friends! The vibe is wonderful, the class is fantastic, and I’ll definitely be attending as many as I can in the future.
