I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joanna! I am someone who typically wears pretty minimal makeup, so finding someone who could make me feel like a bride without making me feel like I was wearing a completely different face was incredibly important to me. And Joanna absolutely NAILED it. During my trial, this poor woman patiently put up with me asking her to take more makeup off approximately a thousand times. And every single time, she listened, adjusted, and made sure I felt comfortable. She never made me feel difficult or like I was asking for too much. Instead, she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, even when I wasn't entirely sure how to articulate it myself. By the time my wedding day arrived, I trusted her completely, and I am SO glad I did. The makeup she did for me that day was genuinely perfect. She somehow managed to enhance all of my natural features while giving me the most beautiful, radiant bridal glow. I still looked and felt like myself, but I have truly never felt more beautiful in my entire life. I don't know how she did it, but it was everything I had hoped for and more. And beyond her incredible talent, Joanna herself was such a joy to have around. Your wedding morning is such a special experience, and the people you choose to share that space with really do matter. Joanna brought such a wonderful energy and personality to the room, and she made the entire experience that much more fun and memorable. She felt like someone who belonged there celebrating with us, rather than just another vendor doing a job. I will forever be grateful to Joanna, not only for making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, but for being such a lovely part of the experience. If you're looking for a makeup artist who will genuinely listen to you, understand your vision, and somehow make you look even better than you imagined, Joanna is your girl. A million stars. I would choose her again in a heartbeat!

I can't recommend Joanna enough for all your makeup needs. Joanna did my wedding makeup, and it was absolute perfection. She is truly so gifted, and I loved my soft glam bridal look that looked beautiful in person but also photographed very well -- she makes sure you can have both. Beyond being super talented, Joanna has such a calming presence which was great for what can otherwise be an overwhelming wedding morning. She also put together a wonderful team of additional artists to do my mom's and 11 bridesmaids' makeup, and they also brought the same energy. One thing I really appreciated about Joanna is her focus on enhancing every person's natural beauty. Especially in today's world of bridal social media that is so focused on what should be changed, Joanna helped me embrace an elevated version of my natural features, which made me feel so confident. Joanna is truly one of the sweetest and kindest people, and I feel so lucky that she was part of our wedding weekend. From the very first makeup trial, I knew I was in incredibly talented hands. She listened so carefully to what I wanted, even when I didn't necessarily have the words or the makeup vocabulary to explain exactly what I was envisioning and somehow always knew how to bring my vision to life. She was also incredibly flexible as I changed my mind and tweaked things along the way, and she never made me feel anything but supported. Joanna did my mom's and my makeup for the rehearsal dinner, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. I wanted a darker, moodier look for the rehearsal dinner, and then a lighter, more feminine look for the wedding day. She executed both looks flawlessly, and they felt completely different while still feeling like me. But what really made Joanna so special was the experience of having her there. She made me, my mom, and my entire family and bridal party feel so comfortable and at ease on the wedding day. She has such a warm, calming presence, which is exactly what you want around you when everything is happening at once. I couldn't have been happier with how my makeup looked. Joanna is incredibly talented, kind, patient, and just an absolute joy to work with. I would recommend her to everyone without hesitation, especially any bride looking for someone who will not only make you feel beautiful, but also make you feel completely taken care of.

Joanna was incredible to work with throughout my wedding season. She was so kind and gracious and a great energy for the day. I did a preview and had her do my makeup for the Welcome Party and wedding day. Throughout our time together, she was willing to make adjustments to make me feel confident and like myself. My bridesmaids also loved the way that they looked and felt beautiful. I was nervous about hiring somebody, but am so glad that I did hire Joanna!

Joanna is an absolute dream to work with! She is so talented and brings such a calm, warm presence to her work. I am so grateful to have had her with me for my whole wedding weekend!! Such a wonderful person and artist! 💕✨

Joanna was amazing!!! She made sure I looked beautiful on my wedding day and knew exactly what my inspiration was. The makeup lasted all night and still looked great after a warm day and a lot of dancing. Would recommend Joanna for any future bride :)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Joanna from my engagement session all the way to my wedding day. Joanna is absolutely incredible at what she does. First off, she has the sweetest heart ever and is someone you want in the room with you wedding day morning. She is so calming and brings a sense of peace in a room that can be overwhelming. Then, her makeup skills are out of this world! I am not a big makeup girl so I really wanted the natural, soft glam look for my wedding. That is easier said than done so I was very particular when looking for makeup artists. Joanna was recommended by so many people and after my first session with her, I knew why. Joanna truly made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, while still being me. She elevated all of my features and knew exactly how to make me glow, but without it being too much. She did all the mom's makeup on my wedding day and every single person said it's the best makeup they have ever had done. Joanna made everyone look so authentically beautiful while still being true to themselves and that is what makes her stand out so much. She is incredible at her job and everyone should book Joanna!! Get on her calendar ASAP! You really never regret it. I have never felt so beautiful, thanks to her.

Joanna did bridal makeup for myself and my 4 bridesmaids. Not only is she herself kind and elegant, her work was beautiful soft glam, just what I was looking for. She also did a pretty, soft Smokey eye for my youngest niece who is 15 without making her look overdone or older than her age. We all looked like elevated versions of ourselves. It was a wonderful day and experience for all of us!

Joanna is an absolute dream! She did makeup for me and 3 others the day of my wedding and the only bummer was when I had to say goodbye! I don't wear a lot of makeup in my day to day life, but she gave me incredible guidance ahead of our trial to make sure I had the tools I needed to come up with some ideas and communicate what I wanted. We worked together on a look that was the perfect fit for my hair, dress and venue that still made me feel 100% me in my skin. She could not have been easier to work with and more of a joy to be with! Day of, she took the reins and made me so at ease. It was such a blast having her around for the morning. If you are in need of any make up services; wedding, special occasion, truly anything, I can't recommend Joanna enough. I hope I have another reason to work with her soon!
