I took my car to Joe's Automotive for the first time last week to confirm whether the $650 repair Firestone recommended was actually necessary and to have Joe's do it for a more competitive price if it was truly required. After speaking with Jason on the phone before taking my car in, I felt a sense of confidence that he was a very skilled mechanic and honest business person whom I could trust. Jason tested my vehicle and fixed the problem, which was different than what Firestone recommended. It ended up costing me $160 instead of $650 and the actual issue got resolved. I know where I'm taking my car the next time I need something done... to Joe's! So glad I discovered a competent mechanic I feel I can trust and who charges fare prices. I highly recommend you tive them a shot!!!

After diagnosing that the issue with my vehicle was the catalytic converter, Jason could have performed the repair but recommended a local muffler shop to have just the catalytic converter replaced with a "cut out" and "weld in" operation. If Jason's team performed the repair, the labor and cost of necessary catalytic converter assembly would be more expensive than his recommended solution since the assembly also includes a significant portion of the exhaust, which was fine. Thanks Jason for saving me significant repair cost! Update...my vehicle problem has been resolved after cat replacement. Jason's diagnosis was "spot on"!
