As a woman, I am so happy to have found this place. My spouse is in the military, so every time we move, we begin a new search to find an honest shop that won’t take advantage of a female with limited auto skills while he is deployed. When my car was getting maintenance here, they made a mistake. They let me know right away (I didn’t have to discover it myself!) and handled the fix very professionally. It is so refreshing to find honest people!

After a long stressful 11 month deployment, Neil and GM Bryan took care of my needs. God bless their soul. i needed an oil change and had a check engine light . the shop seams very thorough which may cost more but my Mini is purring like a kitten

I didn’t like that they don’t notice any of the other problems happening with my car. My car’s power steering is leaking and none of that was mentioned during their inspection of my car (inspection alone was 220$). The report they gave me was lackluster, I was expecting they’d give me a detail report with images of what they saw was wrong with my car. I also had to get my car towed there and they would not call or text me with updates, I had to call them every morning.
Amazing service! Very honest and kind people working here. Neil was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the issues with my car and even though the issues exceeded what they were able to do at the shop he gave me great recommendations to shops they trust to work with and in the event i decided to purchase a new vehicle instead he let me know about the used car inspection service they offer to ensure i purchase a well running used car. Will definitely be returning if i ever have any car issues again. Thanks John’s Automotive Repair!!

The busted passenger mirror unit was replaced in half a day after it was ordered. As a caregiver for my mother, I appreciate the efficiency. It works perfectly with all the electrical connections .

I can't say enough about John and his staff -- kind, friendly, funny, caring , honest, knowledgeable, and down right down to earth.<br><br>My munchkin (um....young adult) lived out of state for a bit and bought a jeep with over 200K miles on it because it looked cool and was his favorite colors. Unfortunately, he took it to numerous auto care centers in that state and never found a shop that would give him a full workup on the jeep that showed all the repairs it needed. I wish he did so he could have taken it back and gotten his money back, but I digress. Learning experiences come with all price tags.<br><br>When he decided to come back to CA, I flew out and we drove the jeep back -- using my limited gimpy vehicle knowledge, and tons of borrowed angel wings and prayer. Seriously!<br><br>We are from the Bay Area and stopped in SoCal to visit friends. Went to John's based on recommendations from friends of our friends because we wanted to know what all was wrong with the jeep, make repairs than make it home safe and aound.<br><br>We are so happy we stopped at John's!!!!!! They told us there were so many things wrong with the jeep -- large and medium sized wrong -- they were surprised we made it to CA! They texted pictures of the damage with full explanation of what was depicted. With estimated repair costs hovering between $22K & $25K, we almost kissed the ground but we definitely gave a BIG shout out to all the angels and prayer warriors who helped that jeep get us back to CA!🙏🙏🙏<br><br>Btw, THE JOHN'S CREW LOVE DOGS. Out came water, treats, hugs and kisses for munchkin's fur-baby, both on Jeep drop-off and pick-up.🫶🫶🫶<br><br>Long story short, munchkin sold the jeep at a used care dealership a couple miles away and we rented a car to get us back to NorCal.<br><br>What's more, the decision to rent a car vs a moving van for munchkin and his few belongings, plus pooch, was made at John's suggestion -- more economical & comfortable, he said.<br><br>So, yes, you should take your vehicle -- and your pooch -- to John's. No appt necessary. Just be prepared to leave it and they will get to it ASAP.<br><br>Above and beyond doesn't even begin to explain their service. This place is next level for sure!<br><br>Yeah.. you should go there.
