Johnson Nursery is simply outstanding. Their team is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely great to work with. What also sets them apart is how much they care about the broader community, including the many events and partnerships they support with local schools. We’ve purchased all of our trees, bushes, and other landscaping plants from Johnson Nursery, and the quality has been exceptional. Everything has held up incredibly well, even a younger tree that had its bark damaged by a deer! I could go on, but the bottom line is simple: Johnson Nursery has earned our trust and our business. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for trees, bushes, or plants. Highly recommend!

Johnson Nursery upgraded and added to our yard. It was a wonderful experience from 1st meeting Brian .. the design, scheduling, install all were on time, well done by teams who you could tell truely cared and were going to do it right, regardless of how long or hard it was. Everyone we meet was wonderful! HIGHLY Recommended !!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Johnson’s Nursery, and especially Olivia. I contacted the nursery looking for something very specific to send to someone recovering from surgery at Froedtert Hospital who has a deep love for the outdoors. From the very beginning, Olivia went above and beyond to help me make this happen. When we were struggling to find a way to get the tree delivered to the hospital that same day, Olivia did something I never expected. She offered to personally deliver it after she got off work. She told me she normally does not make deliveries, but she had become invested in making sure this one got there. That kind of compassion, kindness, and genuine care is something you simply do not encounter every day. This was more than a purchase and more than exceptional customer service. Olivia understood what this gift meant and personally made sure it reached someone who could use a little piece of the outdoors during a difficult week. Johnson’s Nursery is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Olivia representing their business. Because of her, I will absolutely recommend Johnson’s Nursery to others and will remember this experience for a very long time. Thank you, Olivia, for going so far above and beyond. Best selection of shrubs and trees. Lots of native perennials. Not cheap.. I don't know how prices compare. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff.

My Google search for “places that sell Liberty apple trees near me” led me straight to Johnson’s 🍎🌳. I live about an hour away, but after looking into them, I was pretty much convinced right away that this was the place I wanted to buy my fruit trees from! 😊 Everything I found about them gave me confidence, and I’m really glad I decided to make the trip. 🚗🌱

My husband and I had a great experience at Johnson’s exploring a pretty large selection of trees/shrubs and placing the order. All staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The cherry on top, however, was Cody. He delivered our large shipment and went above and beyond. He brought every tree to the location we plan to plant, shared a ton of helpful information not only about the trees and shrubs purchased, but also pre-existing trees we had. He was so personable and I had a lovely time chatting with him throughout the delivery. 100/10 would recommend him and Johnson’s to everyone looking to bring their yard to the next level with beautiful, unique greenery.

I rarely leave reviews for products or vendors, but for truly exceptional service and products I am making an exception. 5 years ago, I acquired 13 acres in Fond du Lac county. The land was in terrible shape, overrun with honeysuckle, autumn olive, buckthorn, and multiple thickets of prickly ash. A 2-acre open area was filled with weeds and Reed canary grass. It took 2 years and hundreds of hours to get things mostly under control. For the last 3 years I have been filling the cleared areas with native plants. When I started planting natives, including multiple species of bushes, grasses, perennials, and trees, I went to multiple sources. I now solely shop at Johnson's. With perennials and grasses, my new favorites are flats of bands and plugs. With trees, I have had great success with those that come in root maker pots - no more fear of root strangulation. On a personal note, the hiring practices of the nursery are superb. Every person that I have interacted with has been both pleasant and knowledgeable. I must also comment on their web page. When I am planning on filling a space, the first thing I will go to is their web page. It is filled with useful information and is updated with some frequency.

Great nursery with a vast inventory and a great website with up to date stock and tons of great information about the plants they sell. Also very helpful and friendly staff that will drive out to the yard and help you. One word of caution. It is vital you check in at the front counter when arriving with what you are looking to purchase so they can verify if they have orders. Due to the nature of their business just because the plant is physically there doesn’t mean it isn’t already spoken for by a commercial landscaper. It has happened to me a few times and is disappointing when you have hauled the plants all the way to the front building.
