Customers frequently praise JRs Tree Service for punctual arrivals, professional crews, and thorough cleanup after tree removal or pruning. Pricing is often described as reasonable, and communication is generally viewed as helpful. However, recurring criticisms in lower-rated reviews involve incomplete work, such as large branches or stumps left behind, and a lack of follow-up or communication when customers report issues or request quotes.

JRs Tree Service removed a tree for us today. The crew arrived early and was ready to go. While the layout of our house and back yard created removal constraints - the team had skill and experience, they were able to take down the tree safely and quickly. They cleaned up afterwards with no direction from me. Easy to talk to and work with, I was very very impressed and pleased. I highly recommend them.
Price assessment: Reasonable price

This was a recommendation from my neighbor. The team did an excellent job. Overgrown trees against my house. The team was professional, polite, listened to my concerns regarding potential damage to my walkway. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I am very glad I hired JR Tree for the giant tree pruning. They are very helpful on the phone . Great professional group. Thank you.
Price assessment: Reasonable price

Really good experience with emergency tree care with this company. Easy contracting, good prices. The guys showed up promptly and did a really nice job with several huge trees and complex entanglements .Very professional and efficient. Cleaned up well. Even my neighbors across the street were so impressed they hired them on the spot. Highly recommend

I have used JR Tree Service several times in the past with no problems, but this last experience was very disappointing. I went to work the day the job was done and had specifically asked for the stump to be cut close to the ground. When I returned, the stump was still about 4 feet tall. Since then, I have called and texted several times and was told they would look into it, but nothing has been done. If you use JR Tree Service, I strongly suggest staying and watching to make sure the job is done as agreed.

BAD experience!!😡🤬😡🤬 The people were nice and pleasant and cleaned up some smaller areas, but then they left us with huge giant pieces. I called and called, they never returned for the rest of the tree, What do we do with this?? Massive pieces of tree left behind and we paid for the complete removal of the tree. As I questioned to hold back a bit of the payment the owner on the phone said to pay the bill in full. The tree cutter guy said they will be back in the morning to get those giant pieces. Never showed. So Distrustful !!! Such a scam and they take your money. 🤬

I'm writing a review of our experience with JR Tree Care because we had a great experience (and also because the reviews below are inconsistent and undersell JR).
After we called Brian, he came to give an estimate the next AM. Brian arrived on time to give a thoughtful estimate and provided the written documentation he promised within hours.
His team arrived at the planned time 2 days later. They worked carefully, addressing our specific requests and concerns. Their work was neat, careful, and safe, and they didn't leave until the yard was cleaner than they found it.
We can't imagine anyone doing a better job for a better price.

I had a very disappointing experience with JR’s Tree Service I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, and they showed up late without any prior notice or apology. After finally taking a look at the job, they promised to get back to me with a quote. It’s been weeks now, and I still haven’t heard back from them. No follow-up calls, no emails—just silence. I expected a higher level of professionalism and communication, and unfortunately, they really fell short. I wouldn’t recommend this company if you value your time and reliability in a service provider.
