I have been working with Samantha for the past year and I have been very pleased with her suggestions and guidance throughout the process of building our new custom home. I absolutely love how our home is coming together! We originally worked with the custom builder's interior designer but there were several things I was not completely happy with. We reached out to KDI and I can honestly say that hiring Samantha has been one of the best decisions we have made during this entire process. Samantha really took the time to listen to my ideas, preferences and wishes for our home and she has delivered! She has been incredibly patient as we have work through design boards, area rugs & furniture selections and all of the many decisions that come with building a custom home. I originally planned to have her help with just a few rooms but I have continued adding more projects because I have seen firsthand how much value and peace of mind she brings to the process. What has impressed me most is that Samantha has been there even when things have come up unexpectedly. We have had a few "design emergencies" along the way and every time I have reached out she has jumped right in, helped us work through the issue and been instrumental in finding a solution. Our home is not finished yet but I already know that Samantha has played a huge part in helping us create a home that feels like us. I would highly recommend Samantha and KDI to anyone looking for an interior designer, especially if you want someone who will listen and work with you throughout the process!

Samantha with KDI helped us get some color and personality into our new home in Shavano Park! She was great at listening to what we wanted and seeing what would be beautiful on all white walls. She brought in great contractors who did excellent work. Would highly recommend!

Our designer, Kelsey was enjoyable to work with. She gave us great guidance as we worked through design options for our new home. I had worked with Shelly Brown on model homes in the past, so I already knew she would be my first call when it came time to design my own home. I thought I had a clear vision-until I spent nearly four hours just trying to choose wood flooring! That’s when I called Shelly, and she completely transformed the process. She helped me design my entire 3,346 sq. ft. home-including 4 bedrooms, 4.1 baths, a study, and an entertainment room...in just four hours.
