Kariel Staging offers amazing home staging options with furniture and accessories that are not only beautiful and appropriate for each specific style of home but this service unquestionably helps a home sell quicker than it would have, had it been shown vacant. Their availability for install is right in line with expectations when you reach out a couple of weeks or more before the proposed date, and their team is very careful with the property during installation/deinstallation. Kariel is my first and best resource, as a Realtor, for staging homes in the twin cities metro!
If I had to hire stagers again, I wouldn’t choose Kariel Staging. The most positive thing about working with them was the email communication. It was excellent. Replies were prompt and detailed. They were able to come assess the property fairly quickly after I contacted them. Following that, a detailed estimate was provided a few days later. I signed on with them. Prior to the scheduled installation date, I received a phone call from a person at the company questioning the specifics of the set up. She was very rude. When I reiterated that the written estimate reflected my desired set up and that I didn’t want to change it, she said “well, okay. If that’s what you want.” Then she hung up! This was a very unprofessional interaction. I stopped by the property after staging was complete to see it. I was most unhappy to find trash on the front porch, lint and debris on the rugs (they hadn’t been vacuumed) and two inappropriate items used in staging. One item was a book that was placed with the title facing out. It was a diet book. The second item was a photo of two individuals. The whole point of staging, as I understand it, is to depersonalize the home and use neutral decor. Therefore, these two items were inappropriate. My realtor brought over her vacuum cleaner to take care of the rugs, and she switched out the book and photo as well. My email to Kariel regarding these issues was answered promptly and professionally. The rest of the staging was appropriate for the home. The scheduling of the removal was easy, and the removal itself went without a hitch. However, I would not recommend this company to others due to the lack of attention to detail.
