If you are looking for an absolute master class in house painting, hire James and his crew immediately! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our older home required an immense amount of detailed work, and James completely exceeded our expectations.
What truly sets them apart is their incredible restoration work. They didn't just paint over our problems; they flawlessly repaired extensive wood rot, deep woodpecker holes, and years of structural damage. Their prep work is incredibly thorough and meticulous. They took the time to seal every single gap perfectly, making the entire house fully waterproof and protected for years to come.
On top of their elite craftsmanship, James has an amazing team. The crew is incredibly nice and polite. They showed up exactly on time every single day and left the property spotless after cleaning up everything when the job was done. The final look is absolutely gorgeous. If you want a team that is professional, punctual, and genuinely cares about the quality of their work, James is your guy!

James and his team did a FANTASTIC job with our exterior house painting -- I've recommended him to all of my friends and family! He was very detail-oriented, organized, and timely. He gave me trim color suggestions that I ended up using and was thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review Melissa! We’re thrilled to hear that you were happy with your exterior house painting project and that our trim color suggestions helped enhance the final look. The siding color you found is my new favorite deep blue and I'm sure will inspire future projects.

KC Painter gave us first class service on a smaller job. I appreciated that they bid on our job because many companies only want to do larger projects. They treated our small job with all the attention, prep work and care that other reviewers rave about. They were professional, friendly, efficient, clean and went above and beyond! Thank you, James and Paul!!

KCPainter is one of the best painters in the KC metro...period. As a cabinetmaker and finish carpenter, the painter can make or break my work. I take great pride in my work and it's incredibly frustrating to see a poor, cheap paint job ruin my craftsmanship. James and his guys are meticulous in every detail - they spend an inordinate amount of time sanding, vacuuming, priming and otherwise prepping the piece before a single can of paint is opened. The resulting finish is flawless and will last forever; they are the only painting contractor that I'll recommend to my clients...period

My husband and I are extremely happy with KC Painter and the work they did to remove our popcorn ceilings. They arrived when they said they would, worked all day, and left the area clean at the end of each day. The price was fair, and the work was great- my new flat ceilings look fantastic!

My husband and I recently had James and his small-but-mighty crew paint a couple of spare rooms, replace the baseboards in our old, crooked Waldo home along with patching the plaster walls. They did an amazing job and even helped to touch up our scratched up (thanks to our dog), trim around the windows! I only hesitate to leave this stellar, 5-star review because I selfishly want him available for a few more projects in the coming years but I do highly recommend KC Painter to anyone who is looking for a professional painter, who shows up when he says he will, finishes the job when he said they would, cleans up the mess and charges exactly what he said he would. He IS the perfect painter!

James and KCPainters do outstanding, meticulous, beautiful work. I recommend them highly- totally trustworthy for whatever is your paint job. They painted our whole kitchen and cabinets and we couldn’t happier with them. James is an artist with great taste and was able to advise us expertly and to refer us to color experts and a carpenter who created our glass fronted cabinet doors. I love everything and want to spend all my time in the kitchen now!
See pics below , the kitchen was dark and tired looking before, but had good bones. So we decided to keep the unique cabinets and now it’s bright and beautiful!

Thank you for the review Jackie, it was a pleasure to work with you and John and having the opportunity to give new life to your kitchen cabinets and the rest of the interior painting!
