We hired this company to help with a move, and it was our biggest regret. Our hangers were broken (and we were not notified. We saw it ourselves after the movers left). We were told one thing about how the move will go, and the job was incomplete. Boxes were left everywhere, they did not put things where they were supposed to go, and our items were broken. When this was reported to the company, Amanda Ray’s response was “you only sent photos of one broken hanger, and you can buy hangers on Amazon”. Appalling!! I have sent multiple requests to have my final statement and contract sent over to me, and that was not done. Yet, they have the time to respond to my review. I would never recommend this company.

Hi Mari/Lisa, we’re sorry you were unhappy with the move, but we would like to clarify a few things. Regarding the hangers, the photos and video provided showed 2 broken plastic hangers. When moving hanging clothes, movers take several garments with hangers at once and place them into wardrobe boxes, and use the same process when placing the clothes back into the closet. They do not inspect each hanger individually, so the movers may not have noticed that 2 plastic hangers were broken and therefore could not have notified you about something they did not see. However, after you reported the issue, we offered $25 to replace the 2 plastic hangers, which is more than the cost of a full pack of 50 similar plastic hangers. We also did not simply tell you to “buy hangers on Amazon.” Amazon was only mentioned as a reference for the replacement cost, and we offered you $25. Regarding the boxes, this was a self-pack move and the boxes were packed by you. Our movers placed them where you requested and followed your instructions throughout the move. At the end of the job, no request was made to move any boxes to another location, and nothing was mentioned to the crew as being unfinished. According to our crew, you were happy with their work and tipped them at the end of the move. Unpacking boxes and organizing small personal items in the home was not part of the service and was not requested. Movers do not organize items such as dishes, utensils, shoes, or other small personal belongings into cabinets, drawers, or closets. This would require a separate organizing service. We’re sorry you were not satisfied, but we made an effort to address your concerns and offer a fair resolution.
