Kendall Design + Build - Home Remodeling

We had a bedroom/bathroom/walk in closet addition over our garage. All the work was beautiful and done properly. Any issue was addressed quickly and correctly. We added a lot onto the original scope and they handled it efficiently and exceeded our expectations. We are planning a kitchen overhaul in the future and will use Kendall again because of this project.

The crew at Kendall guided us through a pretty harrowing process of a full kitchen remodel as well as an addition including a reimagining of the exterior of our home. Everyone was fantastic through the entire project and really made things as stress free as it can be to rip an entire side of a house off while still living in it. The design crew really does a great job listening to what you like and dont like while also not being afraid to step in and tell you that you are making a terrible mistake by choosing something. The trades were all fantastic people and truly believe in what they are doing. As with any project the size and scope of what we tackled, there were a few bumps along the way but everything was handled well and we were left with a space that we absolutely love.

This was my second remodel with Kendall Design Build- a full remodel of our kitchen. The team at Kendall listened to all of our needs and interests and the design team worked diligently to make sure that every detail was addressed and that it was the beautiful space we were waiting for. Their trades were on time, professional and are true craftsman. Their project manager, Shay was communicative and kept us aware of everything that was happening. We received weekly updates, regular walk through and the project finished ahead of schedule and on budget. We couldn’t be happier with the end product or the team we chose and can’t recommend more highly

Excellent designer. Would recommend to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen.

I would hire Kendall Design Build again in a heartbeat! They took my vision for a primary suite and turned it into reality! They listened to what I wanted for my dream space - not what they wanted to design! Professionals from top to bottom!

Kendall Design is amazing from beginning to end. Great design expertise. And the entire work team is extremely professional and detail-oriented. They did an exterior face lift on my home, and I am getting asked about it by many people in the neighborhood. I am asking them to come back next spring for our next project.

Kendall Design and Build was awarded the business of redesigning and remodeling our master bathroom, updating our hall bath, and installing new countertops in our kitchen. From the initial conversations with Terri, to the design workshops with the architect Karen and designers Emily and Julia, we were able to quickly lay out an enticing and exciting vision for our spaces. When we moved into the construction phase, Hannah and Mary were excellent with helping keep invoicing clear (and answer/resolve all billing concerns) and Shay was our right hand gal with project management. Anything we needed, Shay was on it quickly and professionally. We appreciated the weekly updates about which trades (and when) would be there that week, which kept us feeling informed and cared about. The trades deserve a shout-out too: while all were great, we especially loved working with Patrick and Jacob. They are experts in their craft and made remodeling look like Childs play. All the trades treated our house with respect, were friendly and approachable, and the team members that worked with them were also professional too. It's been a few months now since the dust settled and we can confidently say the build quality has been great and everything still looks brand new. Sometimes it feels like home construction is fraught with so much risk -- you just don't know whether the companies you hire will do good work with good materials and make good choices, while also looking out for your best interests. We can say confidently that Kendall does that and more. Thanks again to the Kendall team for a job well done!

KDB helped me design a kitchen that was perfect to me and for me. The communication, procedures and documentation kept the stress of a remodel to a minimum. I highly recommend them!

We had Kendall Design Build work with us on a re-design of our patio living space, after a storm destroyed the existing 50-foot tree the patio surrounded. Kendall provided several options with various costs. We ended up going in another direction but Kendall's initial ideas set us on the right course to solve the design problem. It was well worth the cost of the design services. Terri Bailey's experience is a great resource.

We had the pleasure of working with KDB for a remodel/expansion of a 50's bungalow. The new space is absolutely gorgeous, and better yet, the process was top notch. Our project manager was efficient, readily available for any questions, and quick to resolve the unexpected problems that pop up with any remodel. The quality of the work is excellent across the board. The trades were highly skilled, respectful of our privacy, and generally a delight to behold as they turned the sketches for our dream space into reality. We relied on KDB's design staff for expert, insightful recommendations, and they were also willing to suspend judgement and help us make it happen when our ideas were off the beaten track but something we knew we wanted. Work was completed on budget, and progress tracking was impeccable and transparent with thorough documentation of all costs. The icing on the cake is that KDB runs on passion and integrity. I am grateful to have found such an outstanding local business for our remodel.
