We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos from Khanh! He did an incredible job capturing our wedding day, and the final gallery turned out even more beautiful than I imagined.
What impressed me most was how thoughtfully he documented the entire day. He captured everything from the venue setup and flower arch arriving, to our ceremony, wedding party and family, couple portraits, guests enjoying themselves, dinner, and even the tableside churrasco service. Looking through the gallery feels like reliving our wedding rather than simply looking at posed pictures.
Khanh has a wonderful eye for composition, lighting, and finding beautiful locations. Our venue was relatively small, and I had originally planned to book a separate wedding portrait session with him afterward because I wanted dedicated portraits of my husband and me. Instead, Khanh found so many different spots inside and outside the venue that our wedding-day portraits already look like they came from a dedicated portrait session. I was amazed by the variety he created in one location.
Our photos range from bright, soft, and romantic to dramatic and elegant. I especially love the backlit portraits, close-ups, black-and-white images, photos of my husband kissing my forehead, and the full-length shots of my gown and veil. He also photographed the details—my bouquet, hair, makeup, jewelry, and wedding ring—beautifully. Most importantly, he made my husband and me look natural and comfortable together rather than overly posed.
Some of my favorite photographs, though, are the candid ones. As I walked down the aisle, Khanh captured not only that incredibly important moment but also the genuine emotions on the faces of my family and bridesmaids watching me. Those were expressions I couldn't see myself at the time, and being able to experience them afterward through his photographs is incredibly special.
That is something Khanh does exceptionally well: he notices what is happening around the main moment. He captured people laughing, talking, eating, helping with setup, reacting to important moments, and simply enjoying the celebration. Those photographs preserve not just what our wedding looked like, but what it actually felt like.
Beyond his talent, I was incredibly impressed by Khanh's work ethic and dedication. We booked him for a specific number of hours, but he stayed beyond our booked time without charging us extra so he could continue documenting the celebration. He clearly cared about finishing the story of our wedding rather than simply watching the clock, and that meant so much to us.
I wanted wedding photographs that I could look at decades from now and still remember the emotions and atmosphere of the day. Khanh gave us exactly that—a beautiful combination of formal portraits and genuine documentary-style photographs covering our wedding from beginning to end.
Choosing Khanh as our wedding photographer was absolutely worth it. His artistic eye, creativity, professionalism, and work ethic exceeded our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and dedicated photographer who can capture not only how a wedding looks, but how it feels.

Khanh Nguyen and his team are so wonderful to work with. He took engagement photos and photos for our wedding and they all looked just absolutely beautiful! He really does take time to know his clients, their vibe and style. Furthermore, he knows all the good spots in Houston for good engagement photos which is a true plus! Our wedding photos turned out so beautiful! He and his team captured quite a lot of precious and candid moments that I didn't get to see during the wedding including a beautiful moment of my mom with small tear in the corner of her eye. Will also make a special plug for his wife Tu and Solarium beauty who did my makeup and hair - the two of them together made the photos look absolutely wonderful! I never felt or looked so beautiful in my life and the wedding photos also more than reflected that! Recommend you book him for engagement and wedding photos!

Khahn is literally the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. My husband has worked with him before so we used him for our wedding pictures and they were phenomenal. He was able to also do our engagement shoot at his studio which was beautiful and just made it so fun for us. He has an incredible creative eye for photos and will fulfill your inspo requests as well. He’s not your any typical photographer and just knows how to make you look stunning in unconventional poses and scenery. He is funny and sweet and just a great time to be around. I have done commercial photography for decades so I looked long and hard for the right photographer for my daughter’s wedding. A good number of wedding photographers will set their cameras on auto and then use heavy filters (after the fact) to cover up their lack of skill. This type of photography will not stand the test of time. Composition and technical skill matter. Often overlooked is the ability of the photographer to capture the essence and emotions of the day. This is almost an intangible skill but it’s so obvious at the same time. Without it, photos can feel lifeless even if they look technically perfect. Khanh does this better than anyone. I think I looked at every photographer in Houston and I didn’t find another photographer that even came close to his talent in this area. If you choose Khanh, when you look back at your photos in 20 years, you are going to remember how you FELT on your wedding day. After choosing him for my daughter’s wedding, I learned why he’s so good at this. He’s the sweetest person and he really connected with all of us. That shows in his work. He is a master at capturing feelings because he truly opens up and he understands those feelings himself. He’s just the sweetest most flexible guy. He truly loves what he does and becomes a part of the experience. I believe your heart has to really be connected to master this skill. I would recommend Khanh to anyone who prioritizes capturing the emotions of your wedding day. If you choose him, you will also be sharing your day with someone who is kind and caring. When I was searching for photographers, I wanted someone who can handle the tricky lighting of a daytime ceremony at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center and evening reception at Nouveau Art Bar. Khanh definitely delivers!
I loved his creativity and flexibility in his photos and previous work he had shared with me. His photography style is timeless and captures the emotions of our wedding day. He is also Vietnamese so he help direct my Vietnamese family on how to pose and where to stand, etc. My mom adores him!
The pictures brings us back to much fun we had with our guests and being able to share our traditions was important too. He made my husband look ever so photogenic and captured my quirky personality. Thanks Khanh and Hung!

We booked Khanh for our wedding on 5/11/2024. We could not be more satisfied with the services that he provided. He was easy to work with, professional, patient, and punctual.
The quality of our formal ceremony, reception, and family pictures was amazing. But what really pleased us is the amount of candid photos that he took of the guests. Khanh truly captured all the memorial moments. He also got all our pictures to us within a week of the wedding!
