So thankful to the Kinetix team for helping me with my TMD symptoms! Every single person I interacted with was kind and helpful. The exercises they had me do and how they tracked my progress really helped with my recovery. I will absolutely go back here for any PT needs in the future.

You helped me regain strength and movement, and encouraged me to keep going even when the exercises were challenging and sometimes painful . Update: It's been many years since my prior original post which you can see below. I did well for many years, continued coaching wrestling and participating in BJJ. About a year ago my back started to flare up, and later on I had a foot injury that then led to a flare up of my old knee pain, and hip, as well! So the next thing I knew: my whole body was hurting again! Despite me having done PT plenty of times in the past, I didn't know where to begin in this particular situation. I came back in to see Dr. Scott and he gave TLC to numerous different areas, including my foot/lower leg, knee, back, and hip. We focused on the most painful areas first, and as some of them eased up we would focus more on the next. It's been 6+ months and I'm feeling even better than before I had the flare up! I am a family medicine doctor, and I couldn't have done it without Dr. Scott and the team at Kinetix. They are top tier and I trust them enough to send many of my patient's here. They are the most comprehensive PTs I know, and incorporate numerous tools including diagnostic ultrasound, dry needling, radial pressure wave therapy, etc. that are not accessible at most PTs in the area. I trust them with my health and couldn't recommend them enough. Getting better isn't easy. It takes a lot of work (at home), dedication, persistence, willingness to explore your body, and trust in the game plan. But doing so is possible with Dr. Scott at Kinetix! Original post: Prior to Kinetix, I had lost hope. More than a decade in the sport of wrestling, when I finished college athletics my body felt completely destroyed. Most of the problems I had, I planned on just dealing with for the rest of my life. I was in constant back pain for most of that decade, taking so much ibuprofen that I gave myself a stomach ulcer. I had been to multiple different physical therapy facilities, but they never took my specific case into account and I wasn’t able to gain much from it. As the years went on, my back pain continued to get worse, having to take opioid pain medications, steroid injections, and muscle relaxers whenever I had a bad flare. Then a knee problem that I never dealt with slowly became worse and worse over the course of 3 years, until walking up or down stairs became excruciatingly painful. At this point I felt broken down mentally and physically and decided to try PT again as my final hope. Scott Edins and Kinetix PT were the answer to my prayers. They took into account my goals, strengths, and weaknesses, and tailored my program accordingly. It was a slow process with a lot of hard work at home applying the skills they taught me. For those thinking they could just do it themselves at home, I could NOT have done it without Scott Edins and the Kinetix PT team. I know that because with years of exercise experience, and myself being in the medical field, I wasn’t able to. Yes, I knew some of the information, but they filled in all of the most important gaps that helped me transform my life. Now after having finished PT with the Kinetix team, my knee pain is almost completely gone! Additionally, my back pain which I have suffered from for so long is exponentially better, I require no pain medications, I don’t toss and turn all night in pain like I used to, and I can do most of my favorite activities again. Not to mention, I am empowered to continue to get stronger on my own, because Kinetix gave me the tools to free myself from chronic pain. Now I tell everyone I know in the wrestling and exercise community and beyond who I see suffering from pain and chronic injuries, to GO TO PHYSICAL THERAPY. Don’t go if you’re looking for a magic fix, there isn’t one. Go if you are ready to put in the work and help them help you to stop your suffering. But, when you go to Physical therapy, make sure to go to Kinetix PT. It will change your life—it changed mine.

My experience at Kinetix continues to be exceptional. My latest therapy was because I broke the neck of the femur and was hospitalized for 3 to 4 weeks. After discharge, I started physical therapy at Kinetix with Scott as my lead therapist and Bella, who is also very exceptional did most of my exercise exercises. I’m a retired physician. I’ve worked with many many physical therapists in my time practicing. I can truly say that the staff at Kinetix is as good as any I’ve ever seen. If indeed you need outpatient physical therapy, I cannot or strongly recommend Kinetix.

I went to Kinetix Physical Therapy and was treated by Scott Eddins, Pt, DPT, ECS and Bella Waldo, PTA in Gainesville for over 3.5 months. They did an excellent job at helping me with a very difficult problem. They listened and explained what they were doing clearly. They were professional, kind, experienced and guided me throughout the plan. My results were very positive. I highly recommend them to help with any variety of Physical Therapy needs.

I want to give another shout out to Dr. Kyrsten Giebeig. I recently came back to her for a muscle strain injury and once she evaluated me and set me up with my exercises I immediately started feeling better. Thank you so much for your excellent care. It is a plus having the assigned exercise on the Kinetix app. I appreciate the whole team from the time of check-in, with the excellent customer service to the physical therapy care.
