Kirkwood Plumbing (Mr. Rooter) and Jake were exceptional. Continuing the journey of restoring this beloved old house; of course, there are unexpected plumbing challenges. This past two days, Jake brought wonderful craftsmanship and patience to repair an older bathroom and install new outdoor hose bibs. It was much appreciated that Jake (Jacob G.) had a positive attitude and was very respectful to the home and property. Thank you.

Our two outdoor faucets were replaced quickly and booties worn at all times in the house. Very happy! They also later helped fix an old speakman shower control and also cleared out a hot water line. Great!

My experience with Kirkwood Plumbing was horrible. Their estimate to install a replacement garbage disposal, one that I provided was over $500 !!! That was labor alone, no additional parts or accessories. The estimator admitted that the job would not take over 1 hour !
Needless to say I did not accept such a ridiculous & insulting estimate & after checking with 3 other reputable plumbing companies, their estimates ranged from $175-$225.
I will never again consider Kirkwood Plumbing for any possible work or recommend them to anyone.

First of all, it’s not Kirkwood plumbing anymore. It’s Mr. Rooter. I used Kirkwood plumbing for years.
The pros: the staff is very nice. Quick response to my toilet plumbing issue. Very communicative about when things are happening.
The cons: It took two different visits to solve my issue. One visit to unclog the toilet and a second visit to install a new and remove the old toilet. I am sure there was an added service charge in there for both visits. I tried to redeem the $75 off coupon online after the second visit, and the service professional had to call and get permission from his manager to use it. This is curious as the coupon is online On their website.
Of course, I approved the job when it was completed , but did not notice until after the service professional left that the toilet seat and lid do not sit evenly on the toilet base. It stands at about a 20° angle from the toilet base. I am sure it’s because of the bidet, but I wish I would’ve been told about that. Not sure how to fix it.
In addition, the part on my front door that keeps the door open is now broken away from the door after the service professional left.. To unclog the toilet and install a new one and remove the old one cost a little over $1,300. I was in a spot. I had to pay as water was dripping into my basement.
