I had the opportunity to work with Klaar College Consulting through the college journey. Charlotte answered every question we had honestly and promptly. She truly guided us every step of the way. She made an individualized plan for my daughter that was the perfect fit. Even after all of her acceptances, she still checked in and answered our questions. We are forever grateful.

We reached out to Charlotte at a later stage of the process than most. She came recommended from another firm with great admiration. When my daughter, wife and I met with Charlotte over zoom she was very clear on what she did and did not do in her fee schedule. We appreciate the candor and expectations. We hung up without commitment and our daughter felt comfortable immediately with Charlotte and we subsequently committed. We can say with the highest degree of sincerity possible, it was the best investment ahead of tuition that we could have made for the future of daughter. Charlotte is amazing. She really takes her time to get to know the student and then based on her vast knowledge and experience can help guide that student to their best fit. Once that list is created she knows exactly how to help that student to achieve their dreams

Top notch service I had Klaar who worked with me every step of the way from finding what colleges were right for me, to setting up the common app to essays. She stood up for what she knows is best, ignoring parent pressure and giving the child the control over there college experience

I'm really disappointed with her work. I can not reach out her when my son need her help in regular decision process. She didn't reply email and message before deadline. She can hardly give any instructional advice in the whole process. You had to figure it out by yourself when you have some problems. Not recommend her.

I am very sorry that this family was disappointed, but I must say that I had advised all my clients and their parents that my office would be closed from December 24th through January 3rd without email, text or meetings being available since I was leaving for a family vacation. This notification was first given on November 6th. I repeated this in a virtual meeting with the student on November 27th. The student was scheduled to complete all writing prior to Thanksgiving but failed to do so due to school obligations. I reminded him that his ED application might not come out as he hoped despite stellar qualifications, and that all remaining applications should be complete and ready to submit before hearing from that college. He did not follow my advice. When the ED application turned out to be a denial, I was already away and did not receive either his email or his mother’s until today, January 1. I wrote him on November 20th asking where the remaining writing was. We ended up having a meeting on Saturday, November 27th, when I was to be closed for the Thanksgiving weekend, to remind him that he needed to send me writing to complete the essays, and particularly reminding him about my office closure. I do not think that the one-star review is justified given the many hours I have given this student over the last year, much of it outside of regular business hours. Now that my vacation is over, I have reached out to the student again requesting that he send me the writing for the last college to be completed. I will not abandon him.

Charlotte worked with both of my children through the college admission process. She helped each of them to figure out what they really wanted out of a college experience. My children loved working with her. Each of them had a successful experience at college that was a perfect fit for their educational and social/emotional requirements. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend her services.
