Kate was the best decision we made while planning our backyard wedding. The day of posed last minute challenges with a Nor’easter rolling through and various other uncontrollable hiccups , but she handled the day with grace and was calm, professional, organized and got it done!! Our entire wedding party admired her ability to pivot with the weather challenges. She made the day so enjoyable for my husband and I. Can’t thank her enough for a beautiful , memorable day!

Kate and McKayla did such a wonderful job helping us keep our wedding day on track! The meetings ahead of time with both of them gave my husband and I such peace of mind knowing that someone had all the details handled. They showed up for the rehearsal and got to know our bridal party so incase anyone had any questions, they knew who to go to, and stayed till the very end to help us clean up anything we needed help with, and to make sure we had a point of contact in case we needed anything as well. They’re both so friendly and easy to talk to, their coordination services are were an essential part of our wedding day!

Kate was truly incredible and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the planning leading up to the day to the wedding itself, she was organized, professional, and so helpful with every detail. She helped coordinate vendors, kept the timeline running smoothly, and made sure everything was exactly how we envisioned. She also set up all of our decor beautifully and helped break everything down at the end of the night, which was such a huge help. Knowing she had everything under control made the entire day feel so stress-free. Her calm, supportive personality made such a difference, and she handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes. Very highly recommended! We used Kate to coordinate my daughter’s wedding, she was terrific! Very attentive to everyone’s needs, kept the day’s plan going perfectly smooth. Kate also helped us out with a few hands on needs, like setting up and breaking down chairs, moving flower arrangements and even made sure the outside seating was dry as we had some light rain prior. Thank you so much Kate, you are an absolute treasure!

My husband and I used Kate for our small backyard style wedding and it was the best decision we ever made in regards to our wedding! We had a tiny budget but we also were planning everything ourselves and it was at a family friends farm so there were so many moving components. I had managed to get a lot planned but was feeling overwhelmed and worried about the day going smoothly. From the first call Kate set us at ease. We wanted our wedding to stay unique to us and we had such a small budget that we were worried about being judged for even inquiring about planning or coordinating, and thought someone might try to change our minds on things or just take over. We also felt like we had most of the details figured out so we weren't quite sure what we were actually looking for.. but we knew needed help. Kate was friendly and upbeat without it feeling like she was just trying to win us over. We just connected so easily with her and didn't feel judged at all. She saw our vision and figured out our needs and made it feel easy. We settled on her being a day of coordinator, but leading up to the wedding when we were in a bind finding one of our vendors she also helped us nail that down too. She went above and beyond and was there for every random text I sent her way without making me feel like to much. She grounded me! When it came to the rehearsal dinner and the day of SHE ROCKED. She helped time when our bridal party would walk down the aisle and pressed play on our music (which is definitely beyond her job description), she laid our cookies out out on tables for us before the reception started, she brought our cake and desserts out when it was time for them to be put out, she let people know what activities were available and when they could eat , communicated between the caterer and us etc etc. All the little moving parts fell into place because of her and we had quite a few guests mention their pleasant experience with her. I was worried she wouldn't have enough things to do because it was a small wedding but when the wedding day hit I was SO glad we worked with her because I know there was a million little things she thought of or handled that we didn't have to think or stress about then. Kate is amazing at what she does and is the only reason we could truly enjoy our wedding day. And she did all of that for us while feeling more like a friend than a vendor. I couldn't recommend anymore more than her!

Our wedding day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without Kate’s expertise. Her attention to detail is incomparable and brought our wedding vision to life. She was extremely prompt throughout the entire wedding planning process with answering all of our questions (no matter how big or small) and made great recommendations to help relieve wedding stress. She received so many compliments from our friends, family, and vendors with her organization and professionalism. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to find Kate from Knees Up Events just a few months before our wedding. She was always very responsive to my texts and emails, which I appreciated immensely. She worked with our vendors and set up our venue beautifully, we didn't have to worry about a thing! She also helped us pack up our decor and venue items at the end of the evening, and did not leave until everyone and everything was taken care of.
