Michele at Knots Untied is truly amazing! As someone who spent over 20 years as a massage therapist myself, her work reminds me of the kind of massage I always strived to provide. She finds that perfect balance between relaxation and specific, therapeutic work. She takes the time to address problem areas and work through the things that need attention, but never loses sight of the whole person. Michele is knowledgeable in several modalities, including cupping and scraping, and knows how to incorporate different techniques to get the most out of each session. You leave not only feeling better physically, but also mentally relaxed and emotionally restored. That’s what makes a truly great massage therapist, and Michele absolutely gets it. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely understands therapeutic massage and cares about how you feel when you walk out the door, I can’t recommend her enough! I'm 58, and haven't always been the best about taking care of myself. I finally had a serious health issue that lead me to work on getting healthy. I decided heavy lifting was for me. I've been doing it for almost 3 years, and during this time, at some point, I over-did it. I powered through, kept saying I need to 'do something ' about it. I had pain from my pec all the way around to my neck /trap for MONTHS. Finally someone asked if I had tried massage- I got a referral to Knots Untied, and WOW, why oh why did I wait. By the second visit, the pain was taken from a 10 to a 2. Subsequent visits improved that even more. I was in disbelief that it was THIS easy. I HIGHLY recommend Michele / Knots Untied to anyone who is having some pain. She is so warm and inviting, so knowledgable in practice, her level of expertise can't be measured! She is a great communicator during the sessions and really makes sure she is addressing whatever issue that brought you in. Learn a lesson from me - don't wait with pain! Michele saved me!! After 2 months of constant vertigo & migraines unknowingly from a neck injury I decided to find someone who specialized in tension massages. Since finding Michele I’ve gone back 3 times and I am now completely back to normal. I wish I went to her even sooner. I recommend to anyone especially if you have a history with neck or migraine issues.

Thank God I found Michele and Knots United. From the moment I met her, it was clear that she is one of the sweetest, most compassionate souls, and she is genuinely invested in your healing. I came to Michele in some of the most intense pain I’ve ever experienced. I was dealing with severe shoulder, neck, and arm pain and had already been through urgent care, an integrative medicine doctor, multiple chiropractic adjustments, and visits with my primary care provider. It was actually my PCP who suggested trying myofascial massage, something I had never even heard of before. In searching for the best therapist, I found Michele. I’ve now had several appointments with her, and this has been the only thing that has truly helped. When I first came to her, I was in a very vulnerable place. The pain was impacting my quality of life and even my ability to function at work. Aside from the NP who recommended this type of massage, none of the other providers had been able to offer meaningful relief.
